Notes: Drumz Of The South: The Dubstep Years (2004-2007) is the first photography book to present the early days of dubstep in detail. It features over 200 photographs by Georgina Cook from events and radio stations such as FWD>> at Plastic People, DMZ and Rinse FM, plus pioneering producers, DJs and MCs like Burial, Skream and Benga, Mala & Coki, Loefah and Sgt Pokes, Plastician, Kode9, Hatcha & Crazy D, Skepta and Wiley.

Originally published in 2021 as a Kickstarter campaign, this second edition features a complete redesign, hardback cover and essays from Blackdown, Charlie Dark MBE, Emma Warren and others. The book is 24cm x 17cm, and the 224 pages are printed on heavyweight paper with a hardback cover.

Notes: An absolute visual feast served up by the one and only Joshua Hughes-Games - the creative mind who's responsible for visual side of the inimitable Bandulu Records as well as a slew of iconic work for the likes of Commodo, Teachings In Dub, Ishmael Ensemble and a stack more. He also heads up 16 Tonne Press, a screenprint and Risograph studio here in Bristol.

'Over & Over & Over & Over' then is Joshua's first solo book of artwork, taking in the last 2 years worth of work, experiments and mistakes and reimagines them through the medium of riso and screenprinting.

Each copy is unique with every page being a recycled, over-printed, thoroughly enjoyable ink laced treat for the eyes.

The pictures below will offer a taster of what's on offer but what we can confirm is that even after several run throughs of our own copy here at RWDFWD HQ, we're still picking out new details we'd missed on previous visits.

A true collectors item this, sitting somewhere between artist edition, publication and original artwork - a monumental undertaking just printing this, let alone making the dizzying amount of work that's inside.

With that in mind, this is served up in an edition of 125 signed copies - not to be reprinted.

They muse about the first record that changed their lives, talk about their prized collectibles and explain why they were determined to keep vinyl alive.

Passion for Vinyl also tells the history of Record Industry, the Dutch factory that has been pressing vinyl since the 1950's.

This book is a tribute to vinyl, a format that is making a spectacular comeback recently, although for many music lovers it never really disappeared.

Passion For Vinyl is written by Dutch author, music journalist and incurable vinyl fanatic Robert Haagsma. With an introduction by American vinyl guru Michael Fremer.
