Still-new label Ghost Recs out of Germany has fast become of the underground's most hyped up new imprints. And when it keeps on serve ing up characterful sounds like this that is not likely to be changing any time soon. THB is behind this one and first up is 'Repeat This Transfer' which is denied by its charming, fat-ass bassline and deft little synth motifs which marbled a weighty deep tech groove. 'Neon Cuzza' has a garage shuffle in its percussion and another naughty retro bassline while 'Duck 2 Moog' is a jumble of percussive energy over clipped, dry beats. There is plenty of fresh personality in this EP, not least the late night jam 'Nervous Kiss', which closes in style.
