EAT's music has been a constant feature on Diamonds and Pearls since 2005. Not content to stick to a particular genre, their latest E P continues to deliver a range of interesting and varied music. "Rapture" opens with an 8-bit bass line, surging beneath a four to the floor rhythm. An auto-tuned vocal delicately cries out, breaking through the rough pads and speaking straight to the listener. "Sand" takes the record in a different direction, making room for EAT's haunting aesthetics. The doom-mongering low-end pulsates into your chest while a tribal score moves the beat along. "Flux" continues to excite with laser-like synths shot between a demanding kick drum and a wall of bass that cracks your ribcage.
