Subsequent to releasing an excellent (and sorely slept on) album for the always supreme Strut label, Arthur's Landing reappear on Brennan Green's China Town imprint with two highlights from that set pressed up nice and loud on this twelve. Hogging the A Side is an extended 12" mix version of "Your Motion Says" which perfectly demonstrates the genius of Arthur Russell - sitting adroitly between dreamy disco of the Balearic kind and the rhythmic leanings of soft rock. In the hands of a selection of musicians lucky enough to play alongside the iconic composer, the track is lovingly recreated. Flip over for their take on "Lucky Cloud", a rarity in the Russell canon centred on the slinkiest of basslines.
