Continuing their quest to bring fresh textures and atmospheres within acid-orientated music, Edit Select and Iron Curtis are back once again at Absurd Recordings under their Achterbahn D'Amour moniker. Lead track "Cardbox" is a tense cut that pivots on a brooding Moog-like bassline and uneasy sonic decoration, but built around a solid yet minimal beat that keeps everything locked down tight. Innerspace Halflife opt for an aquatic dub freak out of a remix, leaving it to "Harmonia" to smooth out the edges incurred previously with some positively floaty synth action that could almost pass for early-days Move D.
