Review: Motion City Soundtrack are one of many lesser-sung pop-punk bands to have a newfound impetus to have their albums reissued, their second studio album Commit To This Memory among them. Now out on a limited pink and blue vinyl edition, the album was originally released in 2005 and co-produced by Mark Hoppus, best known as the bassist of Blink-182. Most recognisable among the crop of tunes here is the hit single 'Everything Is Alright', emblematic of the band's wider lyrical concern with themes of anxiety, alienation and destructiveness in relationships.

Review: A clash of the titans, the best talent in the industry coming together on one project to create the ultimate product - but enough about the Barbie movie itself. The soundtrack is, as you can expect from a movie so high-budget they created an international pink paint shortage, star-studded in a literal sense; An eclectic mix of chart-toppers like Dua Lipa, Lizzo and Billie Eilish and alternative household names like HAIM, Tame Impala and Charli XCX, this album has something for everybody - there's even a tongue-in-cheek New-York drill 'Barbie Girl' sample by none other than Nicki Minaj and starlet Ice Spice, perhaps a pseudo-apology to Aqua on behalf of Mattel?

The undeniable highlight is 'What Was I Made For?', the soul-wrenching ballad by Billie Eilish and her sibling-producer-extraordinaire FINNEAS, a harmony-laden piano ballad that audiences instantly fell in love with. A surprising high point is the ironically titled satire 'Man I Am' by Sam Smith, a combination of 80s synthpop tropes and Right Said Fred's 'Too Sexy' vocal fries - a succinct summary of the movie's core messages of toxic gender stereotypes.

Review: Bandbox reissues Yo La Tengo's dark, contemplative masterpiece, 2000's And Then Nothing Turned Itself Inside-Out, on coloured vinyl for the first time. Their 2xLP set is pressed on "From Black To Blue" swirl vinyl (named after the track of the same name), visually matching the album's moody aura. Paired with a 16-page zine containing an interview with the band, as well as exclusive photos from the era, this one makes for a thoroughly immersive, retroactive listening experience; Yo La Tengo break our hearts and string them back together again, having deftly woven a clean, contemporary psych memory palace, that is as sophisticated in design as it is accessible.
