Review: My Love Is Underground celebrates their landmark 10th release by going back to where it all began. Those of you with good memories - in dance music terms - will recall fondly the hubbub that surrounded the arrival of The Resurrxion EP in 2010, which announced to the world that Jeremy 'Underground Paris' and Sammy Brawther's label was one to keep an eagle eye on. Here that killer four track 12" is reissued with four slices of House Music Done Properly. "Gotta Get Over 2010" was an instant classic: all yearning vocals, dubby bass, sumptuous keys and judiciously used organ stabs, while "Jer & Iz" featured a clipped, teasing horn that immediately brought to mind the work of Marc Kinchen. "Move Ya Body" was just about our pick of the bunch here at Juno HQ, while "The Nathaniel X-Tract" rounded off the EP with perhaps the most uplifting jam of the lot.

Review: Massive, massive, massive record. That's the only way to describe this next masterpiece instalment from Eric Prydz's Mouseville imprint. Eric has built this label into one of the biggest brands in the marketplace and all the releases have received regular plays from all of the world's top DJ's. The A side of this monster is a new track from Eric himself under his usual Cirez D guise. As usual the production is faultless and this club hit just builds from the start with its massive drums, synth edits and driving bass before building to a massive break and killer drop. On the flip there are two killer remixes of Cirez D - "Knockout" which was Mouseville number 2. The first bomb mix is from John Dahlback who needs no introduction and takes the original elements and uses them superbly with great edits. To finish the package there is a killer rework from Sebastian Leger who strips down the groove superbly and adds his own unique flavour. What an awesome record!!!

Review: Psychemagik love Fleetwood Mac. Their love is so enduring that the dusty fingered editors/DJs/revered record collectors have gone so far as to found Fleetmac Wood, a club night dedicated to the work of Fleetwood, Nicks, McVie and the various other manifestations, where anything goes so long as it's Fleetwood Mac related. Their remix of "Dreams" has been getting playtime at the night - and by other well regarded DJs - and finally makes an appearance on this limited 12". What's immediately noticeable about the Crystal Visions Remix of "Dreams" is how much they add to the track without messing with the original's essence - it's also a lot more inventive than Psychemagik's 2009 edit of "Everywhere" which shows how far they've come in three years. Review: There's been much debate over the years about whose version of this seminal track was in fact the best. Laurent Garnier's 1997 classic "Crispy Bacon" gets a vinyl re-issue and it still stands the test of time. You can just imagine how innovative and futuristic this adrenalised peak time weapon sounded like in the mid-nineties. On the flip, the equally legendary Jeff Mills delivers his take on the track, keeping in mind that this is one of only a handful he's ever done. There's relentless and punishing cyclicality on offer here; the sharply resonating loops, that brutally overdriven 808 kick.. it's one of those secret weapons that never leaves the bag of the best techno DJs. Choose your side, but either way it's a definitely a classic!

Review: 1982 was a time of bad suits, bad haircuts and Men At Work. Thankfully the music wasn't all bad, especially that coming from Imagination, a group of backing singers turned pop stars. "Just An Illusion" reached a top ten position in the UK national charts when it was originally released and has been a staple on radio stations and compilations for 25 years. But it was also a huge underground club hit in the UK before it enjoyed commercial chart success, and has been in some of the most credible record boxes ever, including the likes of Harvey and Erol Alkan. Bearing this in mind we wanted to rekindle its underground heritage by choosing a remixer away from the norm, Hans-Peter Lindstrom is anything but the norm. He was born and raised on country & western on the west coast of Norway. Now residing in Oslo, he is a multi-talented musician and over the last few years has become one of the world's hottest underground producers, making electronic music with a nerve.
