Rare Waves Hydronium is an excellent analog synth for electronic music producers. This is a great-sounding music instrument with MIDI and CV-Gate control. It's available as a DIY kit, or pre-assembled - in tabletop format and Eurorack.

The Rare Waves Hydronium is a semi-modular synthesizer with unmistakable true analog tone. Its rich array of CV patch points can interconnect with other analog synthesizers to inspire your music deeper and further in the creative zone.

While it is designed to fulfill the role of a TB-303 inspired acid synth, Hydronium is not a clone circuit. Instead it is an all-new design with its functions re-imagined and extended a little beyond what you might expect from the clone genre.

Its tone is based on a single VCO, a resonant low-pass filter, and a simple decay envelope. And as you'd anticipate of any acid synth, it has programmable glide (pitch slide) and dynamic accents for individual notes.

Hydronium's classic tone is a natural choice for sequenced basslines. Switch the envelope to gate mode, and it also serves as a lead synthesizer when you need a bright, clean sawtooth or pulse waveform in the mix.

It can be played either by MIDI control or CV-Gate. In addition, its built-in MIDI-to-CV converter with post-glide v/oct output lets you use it as a bridge between your MIDI controller and other analog synthesizers.

Hydronium features an audio effects loop that is positioned between its filter and VCA. This is a good place for distortion effects, phaser, and certain other effects that tend to increase the noise floor when patched to a synth's line out. The pre-VCA effect return silences the self-noise from the effect, preserving full dynamic range even when you bend its tone with a high-gain fuzz pedal, for example.

Notes: In the spirit of sonic exploration and musical evolution, Grendel bring you the RA-99 Grenadier, an all-analog synthesizer with an original and unique tone palette. It implements parallel formant synthesis with a bank of three voltage controlled filters to generate tones inspired by the human voice, without being limited by the conventional boundaries of speech modeling. Twenty patch points give you extensive self-patching options plus creative compatibility with analog modulars, sequencers and keyboard controllers.

Oscillator

The RA-99 sound engine is based on an accurate voltage controlled oscillator with variable wave shape. The VCO has multiple CV (control voltage) inputs for creative stacking of the various CV sources available in your studio. There are two 1 volt per octave inputs for melody. It also has a 5 volts per octave input that is ideal for creating octave modulations from an LFO with 5V output. Finally, the 15 volts per octave input is suited to narrow pitch modulations like vibrato and pitch bend. The CV inputs of the RA-99 VCO have wide response bandwidth, allowing FM with audio frequency waveforms.

A subharmonic square wave is generated at a frequency 1 octave below the VCO. Activating the SUB switch mixes this with the VCO output. Raw subharmonic waveform is available from the SUB OUT jack.

Noise Source

A pink noise generator is included to add complexity to the sound. Pink noise is mixed with the VCO at the input to the filter bank. Pink noise volume is adjustable with the knob labeled P-NOISE, and by CV input to the NOISE CV jack. The noise source also adds a subtle amount of jitter to the VCO waveform.

Modulation

The RA-99 modulation section contains a pair of multifunction waveform generators called MOD1 and MOD2. They can provide (1) gated attack-release envelope, (2) triggered decay envelope, (3) pulse LFO with variable pulse width, or (4) saw-triangle LFO with variable symmetry. In envelope mode, the output is a true exponential slope. In addition, RA-99's MODs can create time delayed gate events, serve as low-frequency audio VCOs (with limitations), or act as frequency dividers. Both MODs have variable output level that is sweepable from normal to inverted polarity. Either MOD1 or MOD2 can serve as the main volume envelope.

Filter Bank

The Grenadier RA-99 filter bank combines one low pass and two band pass filters to produce full-bodied tones with resonant character of vowels. The filter bank has three control parameters: ALPHA, BETA, and FILTERS. These parameters are also fully controllable with CV inputs.

Power Input

This unit requires 12 volts DC and draws a maximum current of 100 mA. Polarity of the AC adapter connector does not matter. It can be tip positive or tip negative.

* Grenadier RA-99 will also operate from 9 volts DC, but please note that the pink noise source will be unavailable in this situation, and distortion may be heard in the output.

The unit is protected against over-voltage with a built-in self-resetting fuse.

It is OK to use a daisy-chain cable to share power with other 12V gear from a single AC adapter, provided the total current demand (mA) does not exceed the AC adapter's rating.

Power Switch?

For simplicity, this unit does not have a power switch. It is on whenever its AC adapter is connected to mains power. It is recommended that you plug its AC adapter to a power strip with on-off switch built in.

Main Audio Output

Use a common 1/4" shielded audio instrument cable (mono, TS type) to connect the synth's output to a line input of a mixing board, computer sound interface, keyboard amplifier, or effect processor.

The output impedance is 220 ohms, so it is unnecessary to connect it to a high impedance (HI-Z) input.

You may plug headphones in to this jack, but you'll only hear sound on one side.

A DI Box may be necessary on stage to connect to a PA system.

When it comes to standalone instruments, one of the most encouraging instruments in experimental music was Synthi AKS, so Erica Synths have teamed up with engineers from Riga Technical University to develop a synthesizer with a user interface inspired by Synthi AKS.

SYNTRX [sintrex] is developed from scratch all analogue synthesizer (no part of schematics is cloned from Synthi AKS) with digitally controlled patch matrix. Unlike most of patch matrixes around, that mechanically connect signals, our 16x16 matrix utilizes 32 (!!!) 16 channel analogue switch ICs AS16M1 (made in Latvia, Alfa RPAR) and is a mixer/buffered multiple with 3 level attenuation (gain 1, 0,6 and 0,3) in connection points. It has 256 patch memory, automatic patch switching in performance mode or via MIDI messages.

SYNTRX has 3 highly accurate VCOs that track great over 8 octaves, noise generator with "colour" filter, resonant VCF, ring modulator, spring reverb, looping envelope generator, joystick controller, input amplifier with adjustable gain for microphone to line level signals, 3 VCAs, output signal filter, analogue CV/audio signal level indicator and built in speakers. In a modular synth system, the different sound generating and altering sections are not connected. The DELTA CEP A has a MIDI interface, which is essential when you want to use the paraphonic mode of the Synth. The paraphonic mode let's you play chords and turns the DELTA into the perfect pad and ensemble section. Filter Pinging

Wing Pinger exploits the idea of filter pinging (the operation of using narrow pulses as filter input). With Q near self-oscillation it makes naturally decaying tones of various lengths, assembling sounds from percussions to plucking. A special Q compensation is implemented, to balance pinging behaviors at different pitches.

Intuitive Playability

Essential controls unveil the complex synthesizer patch hidden within, respond musically to your playing. Control layout is in symmetric, follows natural hand position with comfortable spacing. All control components are of light action and silky smooth. As the signals from filters generate pulses and modulations, the Q controls become playful and interactive.

Chaos

With multiple feedback and cross modulation paths, Wing Pinger operates according to the principles of chaos theory. All parameters except volume are interactive, future outputs are related to the current state as well as parameter settings.

Tonal Patterning

Be chaotic at will, you don't miss the expressions from melodies. Wing Pinger is capable of generating pentatonic patterns from its carefully weighted STEP modulation. With practice, you can play noise or melody at will.

CV / Gate

Wing Pinger talks to modular synthesizers via Banana jacks. Use TRIGGER outputs to sync external synthesizers and to filter pings. STEP outputs are weighted mixes from shift registers.

The system coupe is a modern modular groove box combing both digital and analog technologies. It features various sound sources, innovative pattern creation and sequencing, modulation, sampling, processing and integration with external equipment.

Use the Coupe as a creative tool to sketch new original musical ideas and phrases, an enjoyable persuit to take on travels, a flexible instrument for live sets or imaginative first, or ongoing steps into modern modular synthesis. The System Coupe works great on its own or in partnership with your existing set up.

The Coupe consists of a powered case populated with a curated set of ALM modules - some new, some staples, some proven classics - all very functional and fun. All the modules are special editions, with grey panels, white screens, magenta and blue knobs and a custom powered compact aluminium 84hp case.

At the core of the system is the Squid Salmple, a powerful sampler capable of the recording and playback of up to 8 channels of both audio and CV. The Milton is a utility module that provides amplication for external line level sources, a 1 in 3 out buffered mult, an attenuator and 4 input fixed gain mixer. It was designed specifically for the Coupe system - providing some very useful functionality on a small space.

The MCF is a classic analog multimode filter with resonance featuring hi, band and low pass outputs wth voltage control of both frequency and resonance. It can be used as a sine wave oscillator at higher resonance settings with v/oct tracking over pitch.

Pam is a staple in the Eurorack world. Use for synced triggers, gates, envelopes and quantised CV sequences all rythimcally synced to a core BPM. Patterns can be based on euclidean rules, then looped on beats for a repeating structure or not, if preferred.

The Megaslope can be used as an advanced multi stage envelope, an LFO and step sequencer with programmable slides. The sequencer is limited to 5 stages but when combined with Pam's flexible CV and gate outputs it is capable of great variation. Unlike many sequencers, the level of each step and slide times may be voltage controlled.

The mmMidi and expander provide the means for more convenetial Midi sequencing and can fully drive the system with multiple CV, gate and trigger outputs.

Notes: The WCS-1 is a MIDI synthesizer module that utilizes a digital oscillator followed by all discrete analog circuits in order to produce unusual and 'fat' sounds.The exclusive wave addition resource together witha dual input.

A powerful VCF and a lightning fast VCA makes for powerful sound generation capabilities- an ideal instrument for electronic music perfection.

To make use of the WCS-1, you need a MIDI controller keyboard or anthing else with a MIDI OUT port e.g. MIDI pad controllers, bass pedals, or a computer with a MIDI connection.

The WCS-1 has a 1/4" (P-10) mono jack on the back panel in order to be connected to a sound mixer, computer audio interface, or directly to an amplifier.

Notes: The EML-200 recreation is an old idea that has been in the works for 12 years, and several approaches and circuits have been tested during this time. The first attempt was to create a similar synth that resembles the 200 but with several different modules and circuits.

In 2011, with the growth of the EMW initiative and a few years without focusing on the project, it was embraced again, but now with no more surprises.

The raw and powerful vibration that represents the heart and the root of the analog sound, particualrly from the EML-200 and EML-300, was a key inspiration when creating the EMW-200 and EMW-300.

Notes: The EML-300 was released as a controller or an expansion for the EML-200. It carries an aditional oscillator and have very interesting features that vastly expands the sound creation and controlling of the model 200. Although the original EML-300 has not been designed as a stand-alone instrument, it can do a pretty good job in several situations..
The good news is that our EMW-300 received an extra strenght that allows it to be a more atractive machine in many cases, thats because we implemented an automatic trigger to the Voltage Generator that turns this module on a 16-steps analog sequencer.

Notes: Subharmonicon is a semi-modular polyrhythmic analogue synthesizer that employs a 6-tone sound engine and multi-layered clock generator to explore the world of subharmonics, polyrhythms, and the unique relationships they create.

Subharmonicon's characteristic sound starts with two analogue VCOs and four Subharmonic Oscillators for a total of six powerful sound sources. Each subharmonic tone is mathematically derived from one of the two main VCOs, giving the resulting chord shapes a beautifully coherent quality. Onboard quantization lets you dial in perfect intervals every time with selections for multiple tuning systems. Choose from contemporary Equal Temperament settings, the heavenly intervals of Just Intonation, or the unlimited freedom of no quantization at all.

Animating Subharmonicon's distinctive chord shapes is done through a polyrhythmic pair of 4-Step Sequencers. Each sequencer is clocked by any or all of four Rhythm Generators that output mathematical divisions of the master tempo. Layer multiple Rhythm Generators on top of each other to create complex polyrhythms and discover inspiring new patterns and styles. Delve into Subharmonicon's dual Envelope Generators, Moog Ladder Filter, and analogue VCA to call up dynamic articulations ranging from lush pads and blurred edges to percussive plosives and ritualistic rhythms.

Although no patching is required to start creating, exploring Subharmonicon's modular patchbay unlocks worlds of possibilities as you make novel connections and plug into new ideas. The 32-point 3.5mm patchbay can be patched into itself, expanding Subharmonicon's onboard capabilities, or interfaced with Mother-32, DFAM, and other external Eurorack-compatible gear (MIDI Type A adapter included for DIN to 3.5mm MIDI input). Use as a standalone synth with included +12V DC power supply or simply remove the front panel to install into any Eurorack system.

The Moog Subharmonicon is a versatile analogue labyrinth of subharmonically derived synthesis and polyrhythmic sound, equally suited for losing oneself and simultaneously finding oneself.

Subharmonicon is inspired by Joseph Schillinger's mathematical system for musical composition and is influenced by two analogue innovations from the 1930s and 1940s: the Mixtur-Trautonium, which employed a series of subharmonic oscillators to generate electronic undertones, and the Rhythmicon (developed by Leon Theremin!), an instrument capable of sounding multiple harmonically related polyrhythm generators simultaneously.

The Mixtur-Trautonium created subharmonics by dividing the frequency of its primary oscillator, while the Rhythmicon created polyrhythms that were multiplications of its primary tempo. These concepts of subharmonics and polyrhythms form the historic roots of the Moog Subharmonicon.

The undertone series, or subharmonic series, results from the division of an initial fundamental frequency (f) by successive integer values (unlike the overtone series, which results from integer multiples of the fundamental frequency). Where overtones are found to occur naturally in acoustic sounds, undertones must be produced through more extreme or novel methods, such as electronic circuitry.

Polyrhythms employ multiple rhythms playing at once to create complex, interweaving phrases. In the same way that a subharmonic oscillator divides the fundamental frequency (f) to create a musically related subharmonic, each rhythm generator in Subharmonicon uses an integer value to divide the current tempo value (t) to create a new rhythm.

Headphones can be connected directly to the output of the synth, and there are plenty of knobs to play with, so you can easily make noises anywhere. Great for learning about synthesizers!

S&H Button: Enables Sample & Hold, which disables the external CV IN jack and uses LFO1 and LFO2 to determine oscillator pitch. LFO1 sets the sample rate (SHAPE is ignored for this), and LFO2 is the wave that gets sampled.

GATE Button: Manually turns on the gate so sound comes out of the synth. This control is momentary, but you can latch it on by tapping the S&H button while holding the GATE button down.

COARSE TUNE: Adjusts the pitch of the oscillator up or down in large increments

FINE TUNE: Adjusts the pitch of the oscillator up or down in fine increments

SHAPE: Changes the shape of the wave produced by the main oscillator (VCO). Turning this control fully CW gives you a triangle wave. Start turning it CCW takes you through sawtooth/ramp, then at about the 12:00 position you get a square wave. Continue turning it CCW and you get several higher duty cycle square waves

GLIDE: Adjusts the rate at which the pitch of the VCO takes to go between pitches (whether changed by the COARSE TUNE knob or CV IN). Fully CCW causes the pitch to react almost instantly, while fully CW makes it take its sweet time.

LFO 1 / LFO 2 SHAPE: Changes the shape of the waves produced by the low-frequency oscillators (LFOs). The shapes are similar to those of the VCO, except that the LFOs have sawtooth/ramp waves that go both up and down (since you can actually hear the difference at LFO rates).

LFO 1 / LFO 2 RATE: Controls how fast the LFOs go.

LFO -> VCO: Routes the two LFOs to control the pitch of the main oscillator. The 12:00 position is basically "off", and the LFOs have no effect on pitch. Start turning the control CCW and LFO1 starts changing the pitch of the VCO. Maximum effect is at about 10:00. Continuing to turn the control starts to bring in LFO2 as well. All the way CCW gives you full effect from both LFO1 and LFO2.

Turning the control CW from 12:00 does essentially the same thing, but brings in LFO2 first, then LFO1.

This might seem like kind of a weird control, but it gives you quite a bit of routing flexibility with one knob. You can have no pitch modulation, LFO1, LFO2, LFO1 with a little LFO2, or LFO2 with a little LFO1.

LFO -> VCA: Routes the two LFOs to control the amplitude of the oscillator. (See LFO -> VCO control description above for more information about how the control works.)

ATTACK: Controls how fast the audio amplitude fades in when the gate is triggered. CCW is fast and CW is slow.

DECAY: Controls how fast the audio amplitude fades out when the gate is released. CCW is fast and CW is slow.

VOLUME: Controls the overall volume of the signal coming from AUDIO OUT.

FILTER: Changes the cutoff frequency of an analog low-pass filter. Turn the knob fully CW and all frequencies (that you can hear) are let through. Start turning it CCW and the high frequencies start getting cut off, until the sound becomes muddy / muffled. Use in conjunction with the SHAPE control to get the tonal quality you are looking for.

Connections:
CV IN: Accepts a 1 volt/octave control voltage to control the pitch of the oscillator. It responds from about 0-5V, but voltages outside of this range won't cause damage. The CV input is quantized, so only valid (western scale) notes are played. This input is ignored when Sample & Hold is enabled.
GATE IN: A voltage greater than about 2.5V will turn on the gate and allow audio to come out the output of the synth.
AUDIO OUT: Connect to an amplifier or another synth. The jack has both the tip and ring connected, so you can even use stereo headphones and hear sound from both ears.
Power: Connect 7.5-15VDC to this 3.5mm TS jack to power the synthesizer. The tip is positive (don't worry, there's a protection diode in case you get it reversed). You can get power from a 9V battery, AC adapter, or you may even be able to find an output on your modular synthesizer that can provide enough current.

Notes: The Behringer Pro-1 is a clone of the popular retro classic Sequential Circuits Pro-One which was once conceived to be a monophonic Prophet-5. Those who know and love recordings of Depeche Mode and Yazoo, will enjoy recognizing a lot of those sounds with the Pro-1.

The two assertive oscillators, each based on a CEM3340 chip, have sawtooth and square waveforms, an octave switch, fine tuning and pulse width control. Oscillator A can be synchronized to oscillator B, the second tone generator is additionally equipped with the triangle waveform and can be switched to low mode as well as decoupled from the pitch control. Both VCOs are brought together in the mixer, where the noise generator is also located, which can be replaced by an external signal. The beautiful basic sound is processed with a characterful 24dB lowpass filter, also known as Curtis VCF. It behaves similar to a Moog filter, but due to the IC CEM3320 it sounds different than the transistor cascade. The two crisp ADSR envelopes are assigned to the filter and VCA. An LFO with three waveforms is connected to the targets via the modulation bus. The special features of this instrument include the waveforms that can be activated simultaneously in both oscillators and in the LFO.

The modulations are assigned on the left side of the control panel. The filter envelope, oscillator B and the LFO, each with their own attenuator, are available in parallel as sources. These are assigned to the targets frequency oscillator A+B, pulse width oscillator A+B and cutoff directly or via the modulation wheel (or midi controller). Wild oscillator drifts, sync sounds, sirens, FM for filter and/or oscillator A as well as pulse width modulation are possible if used with care. If you turn everything up at once, it gets really wild! The modulation bus is the hottest feature of the Pro-1 next to the sound.

The ingeniously simple sequencer provides access to two patterns, each of which can be up to 40 steps long; pauses can also be programmed. The notes are played via a connected MIDI keyboard. After the input, the patterns can be transposed with the keyboard. The Arpeggiator primarily offers the playback modes Up and Up&Down, but can also be integrated into the pattern. Synchronization to other equipment is done via the analog clock input or MIDI/USB.

Xerxes is an eight-voice polyphonic analog Synthesizer that features two discrete logic DCO's per voice. Each DCO section offers four waveforms (triangle, saw, square, pulse), octave switch, transpose, oscillator PWM, PAM, ring mod, pulse width, and a volume knob. It offers an analog multimode filter (HP/BP/LP) as well as two LFO's and 2 ADSR envelopes. Furthermore there is an analog BBD stereo chorus.

The synth is heavily inspired by the well-known Elka Synthex Synthesizer from the past but it is not a replica. It's a completely new development that has many modern and clever new features. The interface was not taken from the vintage Synthex but is also heavily inspired without cloning it.

Each layer also features its own independent programming section for MPE-based velocity and polyphonic aftertouch control of its filter cutoff and amplifier settings.

DDRM's performance section features global pitch control with coarse & fine-tuning sliders, layer 2 detune slider, independent keyboard range control for each layer, mix balancing between layer 1 and layer 2, global filter cutoff and resonance offsets, and a global LFO to control both layers' filter/pitch/amplifiers simultaneously.

The unique architecture of KIJIMI features smoothly variable waveforms on each fully analog oscillator, a rich SSI2144 lowpass filter, and a wealth of deeply programmable modulators, making it one of the most powerful polyphonic analog synthesizers ever made.

KIJIMI features eight voices, each with two oscillators + one suboscillator, a lowpass filter, VCA, 6 envelopes, and 16 LFOs. A deeply programmable modulation matrix along with velocity and polyphonic aftertouch route these modulators into a variety of destinations to create anything from subtle movements in bass lines to complex, organically evolving soundscapes. Polyphonic aftertouch introduces another level of touch- controlled modulation independent to each voice, making KIJIMI a truly powerful performance tool.

Variable wave shaping of its analog oscillators is a feature unique to KIJIMI's synthesizer design. Rather than selecting a single waveform KIJIMI offers a range of waveforms from Triangle through Saw to Pulse waves, passing smoothly through every shape in between. Using modulation sources to control the oscillator waveform brings a new dimension to the sound sculpting process. Each oscillator can be modulated independently, detuned in semitone intervals and synced to each other, VCO2 can even be used to FM VCO and filter, bringing rich harmonic content to the initial tone.

KIJIMI's SSI2144-based lowpass filter is an updated version of a legendary design found in some of the most powerful analog synthesizers throughout history. Apart from being a gorgeous, rich lowpass filter for typical duties, a powerful feature found in the KIJIMI is the ability to FM the filter via VCO2, resulting in sounds ranging from atonal clangorous FX to aggressive vocal-sounding formants. The filter cutoff and resonance can be independently modulated, providing a filter section, which is far more complex than most analogue polyphonic synthesizers.

KIJIMI's two envelopes are set up in typical ADSR mode by default, but a CYCLE button can be switched on to enter a cycling trapezoidal mode reminiscent of the function generator found in the EMS Synthi. In this mode, the 4 parameters are instead used to control Rise, Time On, Fall, and Time Off, resulting in a uniquely controllable cyclic function. Each envelope also features 3 switchable speed modes ranging from fast, medium, or slow.

By default, KIJIMI features two powerful LFOs - Each with many selectable waveforms, rate, and a dedicated A/D envelope for modulating its rate on each new trigger. This means that each LFO can have its speed modulated on each new note independently of any other modulators across the synthesizer.

The modulation matrix in KIJIMI is what makes this instrument truly special: 8 destinations for each LFO, and 4 destinations for ADSR2, each with its own button to switch between Unipolar (+/-) or Bipolar modulation. Furthermore, the new firmware introduces the ability to assign different LFO settings (rate, waveform, EG and depth) to EACH individual destination. Below the Modulation Matrix are the performance modulators: Velocity and MPE- based polyphonic aftertouch which can be routed to 6 simultaneous destinations, each with its own bipolar level setting. With the ability to control filter, VCA, pitchbend, sub oscillator level, and 2 LFOs each modulating up to 8 destinations independently on each voice through your aftertouch performance, the expressive possibilities are truly limitless.

KIJIMI features full MIDI control and 10 preset banks with 128 slots including a Factory Bank and 9 user banks for storing and recalling settings.

This is the first major update to the Hydrasynth family in a little, which adds a tonne of new features.

The HYDRASYNTH Desktop / Rack has the same great sound engine as the HYDRASYNTH Keyboard. The sound engine is a sound designers dream synth as well as a performing musicians ideal. The sound engine is designed for maximum flexibility. At the same time, we designed the user interface in a way to allow you to edit the patch quickly with a minimal amount of paging and many workflow shortcuts.

Utilizing an advanced wavetable synthesis engine, 3 Oscillators, dual Wave Mutators and 2 filters that can be configured in series or parallel, the tone generating capabilities are unmatched.

As for the performance capabilities, The Hydrasynth Desktop / Rack has 24 polyphonic pressure touch pads so that you can play the unit without needing to connect a keyboard or other controller. Using multiple pad layout modes as well as quick to access scale modes, the Hydrasynth Desktop / Rack is easy to make music on.

The Hydrasynth Desktop / Rack comes with rack ears so that you can mount it in a standard 19" rack.

Notes: The Arpopone from LepLoop is a little synth-voice for generating a melody or bass line and a chord section at the same time. It is based on analog ramp dividers of which each one generates a voltage ramp starting from a master clock that can be internal or external.

Trig1 and Trig2 potentiometers set the number of clock pulses.

With the Trig Mix switch it is possible to select between a single trigger (1 or 2) or both (1+2) to advance the scales.

The Scale Step potentiometer sets the number of steps for the two scale generators.
In the mixer section, the two scales are summed together to obtain a more complex pattern. The amount of each scale can be set by two controls and can be positive (ascending scale) or negative (descending scale).

With the VCO Pitch knob, the melody can be transposed while maintaining the same interval between notes.

The note generated by the VCO is fed to a chain of dividers to obtain four sub harmonics of the original note. One of these is the bass section with its own filter and envelope, the other three form the chord section with their envelope.

The two envelope sections are identical, both have a selector for different trigger sources:

Trig1 & Trig2: the envelope starts at the flash of the green LED (bass) or yellow LED (chord)
SB1 & SB2: the envelope starts at the first step of Scale1 (bass) or Scale2 (chord)
White & Blue: the envelope follows the intensity of the white LED (bass) or the blue LED (chord). Except for this setting the envelope length is set by the two controls Bass ENV and Chord ENV. Additionally, an EXT CV input allows to provide an external envelope.
The bass channel is passed through a resonant low-pass filter with Cutoff and Resonance control.

Finally the Bass and Chord channels are mixed together. The output level is set by the Bass LEV and Chord LEV controls.
