Notes: Drawing inspiration from the MMI Maxima, the MMI Helios is intended as a middle ground between the gestural control surface of the Maxima and the fingertip control of the smaller MMI.

Less density, but a much higher degree of patch control is the key point of the Helios, which complements other MMI devices very well, and can be joined with other Helios (Helii?) to form larger and creative control surfaces.

The design is greatly simplified compared to the original MMI, with only two I/O jacks - either can function as input and output, and their interaction with each other is determined by touching both plates simultaneously to form a connection, or in cooperation with other MMI devices.

Available in a "right" and "left" version - one is an exact mirror image of the other, which makes it suitable for having two units adjacent to one another.

Notes: You've got triggers, gates, clocks and other such binary signals that you want to mix - but you'd much prefer if they did not interact and interrupt each other!

Notes: 2ENV is a dual attack - decay envelope; it can be switched between full sustain (the output remains at full level as long as the GATE input is on) and zero sustain (for percussive envelopes). Another switch (SLOW/FAST) allows selecting the time range.

For manual triggering there is a button for each envelope.

CV control: Both attack and decay time can be CV controlled; the CV "multiplies" the time by 1...approx. 8 times.

The ADSR module offers the classic four-stage envelope (Attack, Decay, Sustain, Release) that is not only loopable (patch the end output into gate input) but also accepts CV control over each of the stages! For the time values (A, D, R) the value set by the knob can be increased to five times the duration by the corresponding CV value. For the Sustain value the knob and CV value are simply added.

Notes: Module A-151 (Quad Sequential Switch) is like an electronic four-position rotary switch.

It includes trigger and reset inputs, four in / outputs, and a common out / input. Each time a pulse is received at the trigger input socket, the common out / input is connected to the next in / output. After the fourth in / output, the next trigger makes it step back to the first again, and so on. A positive pulse at the reset input switches the out / input immediately back to the first in / output (see Fig. 1). Voltages in the range -8V...+8V at the O/I resp. I/O sockets can be processed by the module.

Four LEDs indicate the active in / output (i.e. the on that is connected to the out / input at any particular time).

Notes: The Triple Cap Chaos(C^3 Chaos) is a 2hp analog, chaos based, noise oscillator, pseudo ring modulator/harmonics generator, and audio mangler Eurorack module available as a DIY Eurorack kit, PCB and Panel, or built.

It is a unique module, like the Diode Chaos, because it has never existed as a musical instrument until now. There is also no other module to my knowledge that can do exactly what the Triple Cap can do. The circuit(with several modifications) is based on the paper "Simple Autonomous Chaotic Circuits" by J.C. Sprott and Jessica R. Piper. As opposed to the Diode Chaos that generates control voltage this module focuses on the audio rate.

The "Emanate" potentiometer controls the coarser overall spectrum of the chaos, from lots of activity counter clock wise up to less chaos and more of a steady oscillation. The "Width, CV ATT" potentiometer can be thought of as more of a fine control for the chaos/oscillator. When something is inserted into the "CV" in the voltage normalization from the width knob is broken and the potentiometer now acts as an attenuator for the incoming cv. The Triple Cap is not a traditional volt per octave exponential VCO, and has a sort of narrow frequency range to exploit the chaotic behavior.

It expects a +5v to -5v max signal in to modulate the chaos. The "IN" jack is an A.C. coupled input for audio in, although cv and audio can work for both the "CV" in jack and "IN." The "IN" will interfere and interact with the onboard chaotic oscillator depending on the frequency of the input, which may take some experimentation. It can create ring mod ish sounds, to added harmonics, to almost bit crushed sounds depending on the "X" or "Y" output. The "X" output is a more windy noisy sinusoidal based output and the "Y" output is more squared off and aggressive, harsher sounding output.

Some quirks about the Triple Cap: The "X" output can offset negatively or positively a little bit depending on the pot settings, but both outputs tend to stay around 10vpp. With the "Emanate" and "Width" pots all the way up the typical frequency will be around 150hz although some will reach 200hz at this setting. With the "Emanate" pot full counter clock wise "Width" pot full clock wise the frequency will be around 250hz. It is possible to send signals into the triple cap that can bring it out of the desired range causing the oscillation to cut out.

The Triple Cap has a double sided panel. meaning one side has the classic graphics and the other is Soulless with less graphics.

Notes: You want less sound, and you want it fast. You want a mute that doesn't take up any power, a mute that doesn't take up a lot of space, and a mute that accepts three signals. You want a mute that's nice and clicky, and a mute that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

Notes: This little module is an evolution of the LFO of the famous MS monophonic synth from the seventies, adapted to eurorack format.

Notes: In recent years, stereo signal paths have increasingly found their way into the wonderful world of Eurorack synthesis - so naturally, utilities should follow suit. Introducing the Herzlich PSA, a simple solution to a problem you might not even realize you had. Far from just useful as an attenuator for audio sources in mixdowns, the PSA can also be used to bring audio down to more managable levels (such as line level), attenuate multiple signals simultaneously (like increasing the modulation depth of two LFO's at the same time! It's like having two hands, but with one hand!) and even function as a multiple: Attenuator 1 is normalled to Attenuator 2, so multing your stereo signal (or two mono signals) while attenuating the two signals individually is easy as pie.

There's not much else to say, except that it's passive, and draws no power - and it looks great!

Notes: This is a simple 1U module designed to allow the monitoring of a system using headphones. However, if your cat isn't easily scared, the headphone jack doubles as a TRS stereo line level output. Simply connect the signal that you want to monitor to the 1/8? jacks, plug in your headphones, and adjust the volume as desired.

Notes: Enigma Expander for micro Turing Machine (Alan)

An expander for After Later's Alan module (a smaller version of the Turing Machine) that enables you to manipulate the stepped CV sequence. This enables you to create a different, yet related sequence to the main Alan output.

The module comes with the required cable to connect to the main module. Our black and gold panel is designed to complement Alan, Aftter Later's micro version of the Turing Machine.

The module comes with a 1 year warranty.

Notes: The 2OSC/d module contains two 1V/octave hybrid oscillators. Each of them features:

- One frequency knob plus a range switch +2 octaves
- CV input (1V / octave)
- PWM input
- SYNC input
- Sawtooth/Square/Sub-octave output

The pulsewith knob controls either the pulsewidth of the first oscillator (with the second one having a fixed pulsewidth), or via a switch the second oscillator is also controlled by the pulsewidth knob. Both oscillators can be pulsewidth-modulated independently by their PWM inputs.

The module is designed as a hybrid digital/analogue module; the oscillator frequencies are determined digitally and are therefore quite stable and have a good tracking; the output wavefom itself is created analogue. It's a new idea/concept that I have implemented here; the design causes the waveform to get a bit gritty at higher frequencies (but not "digital noise") - it's the character of this thing!

BLINKS is a VU meter for eurorack with 24 RGB leds per channel, function is pretty easy, it has 2 inputs, one for each led column (no output).

PATT button changes the led pattern ( 6 patterns to choose ).

SENS button changes the input sensitivity, cycling in 7 steps.

Long pressing the PATT button enters the color scheme selection.

Long pressing SENS button enters the brightness adjustment. Most probably you'll prefer the lowest setting.

The module has a 5v regulator in case you don't have 5v in you eurorack PSU. A jumper in the back select if the led board would be powered by the 5v rail or the internal regulator (which works with the +12v rail)

Notes: Module A-150-1 (Dual VCS) contains two separate voltage-controlled switches.

Each switch has a control voltage input, a common Out / Input, and two In / Outputs. The switches are bi-directional: they can work in both directions, so can connect one input to either of two outputs, or either of two inputs to one output. Voltages in the range -8V...+8V at the O/I resp. I/O sockets can be processed by the module.

Two LEDs show which in / output is active (i.e. which is connected to the common out / input).

Notes: The Kontact MIC is a lo-fi theme park. It's a Eurorack microphone preamp with a piezo contact mic built into the panel.

The creative applications are endless: finger percussion/rubbing/scratching, guitar input (works surprisingly well with just a little lofi crunch), acoustic sources to CV, etc.

The PCB fibreglass has quite a nice rough texture - rubbing it with a finger or a plectrum creates quite a wide range of sounds. The back of the panel is plated to expand the surface area of the contact mic. The mic will also pick up all the physical sounds in your modular- patching, cables rustling, switches, fingers on knobs - without picking up airborne sounds i.e. the sound your modular is making. At very high sound levels will pick up vibrations from the speaker output and start to feedback.

The module will work with both DIYed contact mics made from inexpensive piezo transducers, off the shelf contact mics (often called Piezo Pickups) made for guitars and violins which you can pick up for ten bucks from Amazon or eBay or more bespoke mics like the popular Jez Riley French models (including hydrophones!) which are firmly aimed at Sound Designers.

It is an easy way to bring environmental noise and feedback into a modular system, inspired by the early days of electroacoustic music in Paris and Cologne, and by the contact microphone and phonograph cartridge experiments of John Cage, Gordon Mumma, Robert Ashley and Nicholas Collins.

Notes: Two bipolar LEDs allow you to visualize your voltages as they swing between positive and negative, as well as their level of intensity, without affecting the signal you input.

Think of it as a 1D oscilloscope in just 2hp! An easy way to grasp what your patch is currently doing, without sacrificing the money or space on more fully-fledged solutions. Useful as part of a patch to keep track of your oscillations, as a troubleshooting device to quickly verify that something is doing what it should be doing, or simply as a healthy dose of blinkenlights in addition to your existing array of sparkling LED pleasures. Notes: Module A-160 is a frequency divider for clock/trigger/gate signals, designed to be a source of lower frequencies, particularly for rhythm uses. The Trigger input will take clock signals from, e.g. an LFO, MIDI sync, or the gate from a MIDI-CV interface.

At the outputs, you have access to the sub-divided clock signals, from half the clock frequency down to 1/64. The low/high levels of the output signals are 0V and about +10V.

The A-160 also has a reset input. Whenever a reset signal is sensed, all outputs are set to zero, until the reset voltage disappears.

The Clock Divider can be used in combination with the A-161 Clock Sequencer to produce stepped sequences with a length of from one to eight events.

Notes: The module was named Kuzmin Filter in the past as a tribute to the developer of the Polivoks, Vladimir Kuzmin. For certain reasons, the module will now be called GRUNGE Filter (due to the sound), with the circuitry remaining unchanged.

The Polivoks was a Russian synth that was produced between 1982 and 1990.This module is the AE version of the filter that gave the Polivoks a unique, rough sound.

Beyond the basic design, this filter offers some additional features:

Two different resonance characteristics, hard and soft
An FM function, that adds the input signal to the modulation of the filter
An optional overdrive for the output, making the sound even more rough and untamed.

Notes: Compact and simple four-input mixer module from Uncle Dieter. Linear pots make it suited to mixing CV signals but it can also handle audio. Mixed signal hard-wired to two sockets.

Supplier notes:
Module A-138n is a simple four channel mixer, which can be used with either control voltages or audio signals. Each of the four inputs has an attenuator available. The output is twice available (two sockets, hard-wired like a multiple).

Notes: ADDAC309 CV to Expression allows a simple and straight forward connection between modular and effect pedals that features expression pedal TRS inputs.

Instead of using an expression pedal into the effects pedal the user can use this module in between a CV source and the Effects pedal to be controlled.

This is a great way to control the available parameters on the effects pedals straight from a CV source.

ADDAC309 features 2 channels each with a CV Input with attenuator and a 1/4" jack output.

This is a passive module, the power needed for operation is taken from the pedal power instead of the modular frame, this allows for perfect matching of the pedal's operating voltage which can range from 3.3v to 9v.

Notes: Channel extender for MIXCONSOLE.

This module extends the MIXCONSOLE module with three additional channels; the channel level can be controlled via CV here, too. If no CV is attached, the level knob works as usual volume control.

Notes: Module A-115 is a four-way frequency divider. The frequency of a signal at the input is halved (half frequency = first sub-octave), quartered (1/4 frequency = second sub-octave), and so on. In this way, the DIVIDER produces four sub-octaves (F/2 down to F/16).

At the output, the A-115 produces a summed mix of the original and the four sub-octaves. There are attenuators to control the amount (i.e. Amplitude) of the original signal and each of the sub-octaves.

Bear in mind that the sub-octaves output by the A-115 are all true square waves. At the output there are always four square waves and the original signal available.

Notes: Erica Pico VC EG is versatile looping AD/ASR envelope generator with voltage control over attack and decay times. It has automatic Trigger/Gate detection, as well as "drone mode" - at full CW setting of the Decay knob, the envelope is full open. In the LOOP mode you can re-trigger envelopes for even more interesting modulations.

Notes: Module A-148 (Dual S&H) has two identical sample & hold modules, designed to produce 'staircase' voltages. The signal present at the sample input is sampled at a rate set by the signal at the trigger input, and held at that voltage at the S&H output.

The exact shape of the staircase depends on the sort of waveform at the sample input: NOISE or RANDOM signals produce random patterns; an LFO produces rising or falling staircase patterns.

Two LEDs for each S&H indicate the voltage (positive or negative) of the sampled signal.

Notes: Bartender? The power of gate signals at the touch of a button, please - but make mine a narrow one!

Notes: Module A-119 (External Input / Envelope Follower) is designed to allow external audio signals to be integrated into the System A-100. It comprises a pre-amp, envelope follower, and comparator.

The pre-amp has two inputs: an unbalanced input for line level signals, with a gain factor of from 0 to 20, and a balanced input with a gain factor of from 0 to 500, for insertion of low level signals, for instance from a microphone or electric guitar.

The Envelope Follower reads the signal level of the input, and puts out a proportional voltage as an envelope at its own output.

The comparator generates a gate signal whenever the input goes above an adjustable trigger threshold.

Three LED's help you keep track of overload, the envelope, and the gate signal.

Notes: This module offers a four-quadrant-control for CVs via its joystick.

The module can act either as CV source at its four outputs, or as four-quadrant attenuator for the CV inputs. Beyond this, a mix of the input CVs according to the joystick position is provided separately.

Another feature is a gate output that is controlled by pressing the joystick handle.

The joystick remains in each position - there is no automatic "return to centre".

The JOYSTICK module can operate in two different modes:

Quadrants independent: In this mode, all outputs are zero when the joystick is in centre position
Overlapped: In this mode, each quadrant output fades from full to zero over the whole range to the opposite corner.

Together with a quad VCA / mixer (available soon from tangible waves) you can use the JOYSTICK also for mixing/blending four independent audio sources.

Notes: The A-138d primarily is used for crossfading between two modular signals. On the other hand you can used it for inserting stompboxes or other effects into your modular system. Both the inputs and the mix output are available twice, like a mini-multiples e.g. for using the input signal also for other applications, kind of like a Thru.

Crossfader: With the crossfading control CF you blend manually between the inputs In 1 and In 2. The Mute switch allows for muting one of the two signals, independent on the crossfader position.

Effect insert: The signal at input In1 is emitted at the FX Send output and can be attenuated with the Atten. control because the modular system works with much higher levels.

The effect unit's output is inserted to the FX Return input socket and its level can be boosted with the Amp. control. The processed signal is available at the bottom in 2 socket.

Use the CF control to blend between the original signal and the effect signal and to mute switch for quick muting e.g. of the effect return signal.

Notes: A premium headphone amp module capable to drive low and high impedance phones to high enough SPL, with good dynamic range and very low distortion.

Notes: Need an offset voltage? Of course you do, you probably need one all the time, and you can never seem to find one. Well, here's two.

Yes, the Stereo Offset boasts not one but TWO linked offset voltages, and even better, they can be independently set as unipolar or bipolar with jumpers on the back of the module. To further aid your adventure in offsetting, bicolor LEDs will indicate the current state of both outputs.
