Functionally identical clone of the Mutable Instruments Plaits. Beehive strikes a nice balance between size, reducing 12hp down to 8hp, and playability by offering full size knobs for the four main functions. Notes: Enigma Expander for micro Turing Machine (Alan)

An expander for After Later's Alan module (a smaller version of the Turing Machine) that enables you to manipulate the stepped CV sequence. This enables you to create a different, yet related sequence to the main Alan output.

Notes: This is a new build of a Monsoon, which is a variation of Mutable Instruments Clouds with separate CV and controls for the 4 "blend" functions. The 4 LEDs on the sliders indicate incoming control voltage for the 4 main parameters. The button which was used to select blend parameters now simply switches what the 4 LEDs display (audio input monitoring or monitoring the 4 blend amounts.) Parasites 2.01 firmware is loaded by default. Alternative firmware can be loaded by request.

Notes: Morcom Expander for micro Turing Machine (Alan)

An expander for After Later's Alan module (a smaller version of the Turing Machine) that exposes the pulse outputs from the main Alan module. You get 7 seven random outputs and then 4 that are derived from other 7 outputs. When 1 and 2 are high then the 1+2 outputs is high. You can get some great rhythmic effects using these in conjunction with the main stepped CV output.

The module comes with the required cable to connect to the main module. The panel is designed to compliment Alan, After Later's micro version of the Turing Machine.

Notes: nRings

This is a new build of a micro version of Rings from Mutable Instruments. MicroRings, also called NanoRings, retains all the same functionality as a full-size Rings module.

The module is fully assembled, tested, and calibrated. Eurorack power cable is included.

These modules use tall bushing potentiometers to offer a more stable feel.

Notes: This is a brand new build of a JakPlugg designed Pachinko, which is a micro version of Mutable Instruments Marbles. It retains all of the functionality of the original but takes up less space (12HP) than the original Marbles (18HP).

The module is fully assembled, tested, and calibrated. The calibration is done with a 6.5 digit multimeter, itself recently calibrated, to ensure you get the highest accuracy from your module.

Desmodus Versio is Noise Engineering's take on a synthetic-tail generator reverb. In only 10hp, it features true stereo in and out, seven CV-controlled parameters, and three reverb modes. Desmodus Versio's feedback control sets the length of reverberation, from short echoes through infinite regenerations.

At its max, the reverb ducks when it receives input, useful for creating sidechain ducking and atmospheres for percussion. The different reverb modes offer even more sound options with clean, distorted, and pitch-shifting shimmer settings. The FSU button acts as a freeze and also creates some noise to stimulate the reverb when there is no external input.

Desmodus Versio isn't just a reverb, though: it's a DSP platform. Its firmware can be changed via USB, so users can load future firmwares onto it or develop their own with upcoming open-source support.

The CalTrans solves issues encountered when playing tonal music with a modular system: tracking problems, curves unrelated to Volt per octave ratio, limited octave range, cumbersome transpose, ...

The CalTrans corrects and expands the range of troublesome VCOs and brings V/Oct tracking to anything that oscillates.

Besides calibration, the CalTrans offers live play features. Each channel can be quantized and any combination of them transposed jointly.

A pair of rotary encoders with detent allow an precise selection of octaves and semitones.

VCOs whose tracking doesn't go high enough to follow the leader will see their pitch repositioned in their highest possible octave so that the global harmony is unaffected.

You can add a pinch of portamento and glissando to each channel and save the whole in user presets.

Notes: Samara is a "Swiss Army Knife" type of module, intended to serve the most common voltage and audio signal processing purposes such as attenuation, offsetting, mixing, inverting, and even basic waveshaping. The Mimeophon music synthesiser module is a stereo, multi-zone colour audio repeater by Make Noise and soundhack, coded by Tom Erbe.

The Mimeophon (from Greek mimeo (repeat/copy) and phon (sound)) is a modern take on various historical sound copying, echo and repeating devices. It allows for Stereo modulations of Time, Space and Timbre of Mono or Stereo sound sources. The Mimeophon is capable of modulating and morphing time scales of repeated sound from micro-sound to note to phrase length while also colouring and spatializing the repeats.

Notes: Pico Drum2 is compact yet versatile percussion synthesizer in a 3 HP eurorack module. It features 8 drum synthesis algorithms created to deliver distinct sounds to your modular system. Each algorithm offers a lot of flexibility therefore a big sounding bass drum and a squelchy snare can be dialled in within the same algorithm. It also tracks 1V/Oct and all parameters can be mapped to the CV1 input.

Notes: Duatt is a dual-channel active/buffered attenuverter and summing mixer. Each channel has a knob, which can function as a unipolar attenuator or a bipolar attenuverter, depending on the setting of its corresponding two-position polarity switch. It's a versatile and super handy utility module that will find its way into almost any patch you make!

Each input is normalled to a built-in +5V DC voltage source. With nothing plugged into the jacks, each knob controls a voltage range of 0 to +5 V or -5 to +5 V depending on the position of the channel polarity switch.

Channel A's output is normalled into the output of channel B for mixing duties, and channel A has a 2x voltage multiplier switch, allowing you to double the voltage sent into Channel A.

Notes: 2HP narrow version of the A-180 multiples module. It is a passive signal splitter suitable for audio or CVs. Two sets of four jacks are interconnected, by placing a solder bridge you can connect all eight jacks.

Notes: Module A-180-3 is a dual buffered 1-in-3 multiple. The signal applied to the input socket appears as a buffered signal at the three output sockets. Each output has its own buffer, i.e. the three output sockets are not simply connected to each other. The lower output of the upper unit is normalled in the factory to the input of the lower unit. That way the module works as a single 1-in-6 buffered multiple provided that no signal is applied to the input of the lower unit. But it's also possible to pick-up the bus CV and normalize the input socket of the lower unit to the bus CV.

Application: copying/buffering of CV, gate and audio signals.

Notes: The Row Power 25 is a clean, regulated, and protected power supply module for Eurorack systems. It requires a barrel-style power brick (15V - 20V DC) and supplies power to modules via flying bus cables, direct connection, and/or bus boards.

The Row Power 25 provides 25W of power for any Eurorack modules (typically 4-10 modules*):

Multiple Row Power modules can be powered from a single power brick by daisy-chaining with an inexpensive barrel cable. The Row Power 25 can also be daisy-chained to Pods. Each Row Power and Pod will be independently regulated and protected for ultra-low cross-talk between rows.

Notes: A multi-VCA module on steroids, the Morph 4 is designed as a modulation hub for an entire Eurorack system, capable of working in coutnless different ways. Proper versatile business.

Modulation is the core concept of modular synthesis: parameters changing over time, adding movement and musical interest to what would otherwise be merely static sounds. Being able to control the amplitude of signals throughout a patch is therefore essential, and one can never have too many voltage controlled amplifiers (VCAs).

Designed as a fully-featured modulation hub for Eurorack synthesisers, Morph 4 takes the basic concept of the multi-VCA module to the next level.

Four linear amplitude modulators are controlled by a master 'morph' parameter. The response of each modulator to this parameter is completely variable, both manually and under voltage control, and can be overridden if desired. Each response is triangular, with the 'position' parameter setting the maximum point along the morph axis, while 'span' determines the width of the triangle's base.

In addition to separate signal inputs and outputs, a variety of combined outputs is available as well: A+B, C+D, add (unity gain) and averaging mixes, and instantaneous minimum and maximum. Input normalisation makes it easy to send the same signal to multiple modulators, while output and modulator response LEDs provide essential visual feedback.

The combination of master control, fully flexible modulators and multiple combined outputs creates a module truly embodying the spirit of 'patch programmable' modular synthesis. Use Morph 4 as a voltage controlled mixer, dual crossfader, dual panner, interpolating scanner, interpolating distributor, quad VCA, quadraphonic controller, slope modifier, rectifier, complex waveshaper or something in between any of those- the choice is yours.

Notes: Designed with versatility in mind, the Fold 6 is a six-stage wavefolder with simultaneous series and parallel outputs, dual signal inputs and voltage-controlled folding and overdrive shaping.

Supplier's Notes:
Often considered to be the opposite of filters within a modular system, wavefolders are designed to fold a signal over itself multiple times. This generates additional harmonics, resulting in rich timbres.

While there is a bewildering array of filter types within the synthesiser world, most wavefolders fall within only a few categories. Diode wavefolders in particular come in just two variants: series and parallel circuit topologies. Choosing a specific folder also means being limited to specific sounds and capabilities.

For the first time, Fold 6 puts forward a 6-stage hybrid series/parallel topology, yielding a greater sonic palette than ever in just 4 HP. Having both main (series) and alternate (parallel) outputs means a single module now gives access to just about all wavefolding tones imaginable.

To take things even further, an integrated symmetrical soft clipper limits the output signals to approximately 10 Vpp, keeping the amplitude within typical Eurorack levels and making it easier to create overdriven sounds at high fold ratios. This clipping stage can be driven continuously using the shape parameter, smoothly transforming the folded waveforms into pulse waves for even more harmonic content.

Two signal inputs are included, to mix audio signals or add in a DC voltage for asymmetric folding. The symmetry can also be manually controlled using the dedicated knob. Of course, both fold and shape parameters feature voltage control, to enable continuous timbral modulation.

Moving beyond simple signal processing, Fold 6 also lends itself perfectly for feedback patching, CV folding or frequency multiplication; its modest size belies the sonic capabilities within.

Notes: Erica Pico INPUT module is just what you need to interface your modular system with external synths or even your mp3 player or mobile phone.

It boosts external signal to modular synth signal level.

With the Pico Input, line signals from, for example, a synthesizer, drum-computer, audio interface or smartphone can be raised to modular level. The module delivers up to 40 dB of gain. Thanks to its two channels, users can comfortably process mono as well as stereo material.

The Pico Input comes equipped with two signal paths. Each signal path features an audio input, a volume potentiometer and an output. Up to 40 dB of amplification are available. Using jumpers on the circuit board, it is possible to dampen the maximum gain to 20 dB. The module's first input is a stereo jack, meaning the user can connect a smartphone or tablet without any adapter cables. In this case, incoming signals are distributed internally to both channels.

Notes: Erica Synths Pico VCO is a great, deep sounding VCO with 32 selected waves: classical, fattened with sub-oscillator, FM synth and others.

Notes: The 'MCO' is a compact digital oscillator. It features a main 'morphing' wavetable output, an additional copy of this output with overlaid variable pulse width segments (ala Alpha Juno style saw wave pwm) and a sub square wave output an octave down to the main output. The waveform and pulse segment width and be both directly and voltage controlled. The pulse segment distribution can also be voltage controlled via the 'type' input.

Expect an early 90s slightly crunchy digital type sound (ala Ensoniq, Kawaii KX synths) rather than something striving for perfect analog emulation.

Notes: The WaveSwarm is a waveform animator and all analogue dual channel device.

Each channel simulates up to six VCO's beating in unison with a different beat frequency between each animation. The fixed beat frequencies are generated by twelve onboard LFO's, and the front panel pots control the level of each of the six animators, along with the level of the dry signal to the final mix. In addition to independent channel inputs and outputs it also has an A+B output, which sums the outputs of the two channels, creating an effect similar to twelve VCO's in unison! This is possible because channel B uses slightly different beat frequencies to channel A, they are not identical.

The input waveform can be saw, triangle, sine or wavetable/complex waveforms, in fact most waveforms with the exception of square or PWM waves will give some form of animation.

A soft clip circuit is built in so that at higher signal levels the signal magnitude is limited by rounding the top and bottom of the waveforms, thus slightly softening the sound. There are soft clip LED indicators for both channels.

It can produce huge, fat drones or supersaw type waveforms from a single sawtooth or triangle wave input.

Notes: This new device is a powerful new CV controlled effects unit for your electronic music setup and pairs extremely well with the KOMA Field Kit.

Odessa implements the principle of additive synthesis controlled by a set of carefully tailored macro parameters to harness thousands of sinusoidal partials that altogether form the resulting sound.

The interface is kept simple and accessible, so you can easily build rich and full, great sounding timbres of very complex spectra, that can be either harmonic or inharmonic. Even though inharmonic spectra yield non-periodic waveforms, all partials are frequency related to the common fundamental controlled by a V/oct input. The series of harmonics can be squeezed or spread apart, tilt, and pruned by a comb-like frequency response, resulting in a variety of unearthy sounds. Animating the comb response yields radical effects similar to flanging and phasing. Additional, often sought after features are implemented: through-zero linear frequency modulation, and unison detune: up to 5 copies of the sound can be spread apart for a fat and dense cluster of voices.

There are nine parameters, each controlled by a dedicated knob, so the workflow is as smooth and immediate as possible. Furthermore, every parameter has a dedicated CV input, allowing live animation for organic audio effects. Odessa sports two main outputs for banks of harmonic partials that can be further scaled in frequency, as well as an additional output that can either spit out a square wave or a single sinusoid of the fundamental frequency. Interesting spatial effects, crazy modulation feedbacks as well as synchronisation is possible that way.

The hardware is based on a powerful FPGA chip offering massive parallel computing. The synthesized signal is devoid of aliasing through the entire audio range thanks to intrinsically bandlimited algorithm. A simplified spectral analyser helps you to keep a visual track of what is actually happening to the harmonics.

For even more control over Odessa, you can use the Leibniz subsystem (or just the Lipsk) that can be connected to a header at the back of the module.

Each filter has available a separate FM input as well as an Audio Input and Output. The FM input is typically connected to the output of the associated envelope generator (e.g. A-141-4).
The envelope amount for all four filters is controlled by the FM knob and the CVFM input by means of four built-in VCAs, which are controlled by the FM control and CVFM input. This allows also voltage control of the envelope amounts.

In addition common frequency modulation for all filters is possible (e.g. by an LFO). For this the CVF input with attenuator can be used. The range of the audio input level control (L) allows also clipping/distortion with typical A-100 audio levels
(e.g. from A-111-4) at the filter inputs. Even this parameter is voltage controllable as well as the resonance (Q).
Application: polyphonic patches (four VCFs with same parameters).

Notes: Gritty drum voice module based on new old stock Yamaha FM synthesis chips, also capable of a decent range of synth tones. User-friendly knobby interface with a decent range of CV inputs for modulation.

'Akemie's Taiko' is an authentic complete FM synthesis based drum voice created using original Yamaha IC's. It builds on the same technology used in the mighty Akemie's Castle but in a more complete triggered voice form featuring both signal generation and envelope shaping.

The module provides CV and direct control over a number of FM parameters including algorithm selection, operator release envelopes, ratios, waveforms & feedback. This gives a massive range of unique sounds.

The voice is able to track 1 volt per octave allowing it to be used for melodic lines as well as percussion. Also optional 'frequency ramps' can be enabled for additional audio effects.

The drum voice includes a trigger input as well as accent and choke trigger inputs to add further expressive and rhythmic control.

Notes: Belgrad is an all-analogue voltage controlled filter module which - on par with our other modules - brings something new to the table. While it can be used as a traditional VCF for "academic" subtractive synthesis, we guarantee countless hours of exciting timbral explorations thanks to its unique character, flexibility, and features. The most prominent feature is that it offers a multitude of frequency responses with two resonant peaks.

Notes: Trim is a 2 channel passive attenuator. It features two individual channels of attenuation.

Notes: The A-138d primarily is used for crossfading between two modular signals. On the other hand you can used it for inserting stompboxes or other effects into your modular system. Both the inputs and the mix output are available twice, like a mini-multiples e.g. for using the input signal also for other applications, kind of like a Thru.

Crossfader: With the crossfading control CF you blend manually between the inputs In 1 and In 2. The Mute switch allows for muting one of the two signals, independent on the crossfader position.

Effect insert: The signal at input In1 is emitted at the FX Send output and can be attenuated with the Atten. control because the modular system works with much higher levels.

The effect unit's output is inserted to the FX Return input socket and its level can be boosted with the Amp. control. The processed signal is available at the bottom in 2 socket.

Use the CF control to blend between the original signal and the effect signal and to mute switch for quick muting e.g. of the effect return signal.

Notes: The Listen Four is a four channel stereo mixer with line, modular, and headphone outputs. Two mono channels with Pan knobs and two stereo channels with dual inputs provide optimal compatibility with both stereo and mono signals. The Listen Four can be daisy-chained to other Listen modules to create a larger mixer with sub-mix outputs.

Notes: A-138s is a simple but useful 4-in-2 mixing tool. It has four inputs available. Each input is equipped with an attenuator (Level) and a panning control that is used to distribute the signal to the left and right output. Beyond stereo mixing it is equally suited to create variable parallel routings. For example: Any of the four inputs may be routed in variable intensity to feed two filters.

You may regard the A-138s as a smaller version of the A-138m Matrix Mixer.

Inputs and outputs are DC coupled, i.e. the module can be used for the mixing of control signals too.

Notes: Tallin is a dual voltage controlled amplifier (VCA) with overdrive, offering some unusual control features and a range of attractive tonal characteristics. Each of the two identical channels offers two simultaneously available inputs for voltage control over signal attenuation or gain, with linear and exponential response to CV. Volume control knobs offer manual gain settings ranging from fully closed (-80dB) up to +18dB. A colour LED indicator displays output signal levels. A soft-clip circuit avoids harsh clipping distortion, while a switchable overdrive circuit offers two carefully crafted distortion responses, simulating the sound of classic tube amplifiers.

Since both CV inputs are simultaneously active, they can be jointly exploited within patches featuring more complex volume control that otherwise would require using two traditional VCAs in series. As the signal path is DC-coupled, Tallin can also be used for handling the control voltages.

Notes: Arp is a gate-driven arpeggiator with a multitude of chord types and playback modes. Voltage control over both root note and chord type allow for sequencing any combination of chords in any key imaginable.

Notes: Two independent Contour Envelope Generators in a single 12hp wide Eurorack module. These are very accurate replicas of the Model D contour generators, with identical circuitry and component values running on the correct +9.3V and -10v supply voltages of the original; so they exactly replicate the original envelope response along with all of it eccentricities. Extra features include manual trigger buttons and envelope status LED's.

The contour generators played a larger part in the sound of the Model D than many people realise. There are two factors that make them unique, firstly the exponential slope when is used in conjunction with the (near) linear slope of the original VCA which is responsible for the famous Model D "punch". Secondly, the re-trigger behaviour is quite unique, multiple retriggering increases the output level so that either the volume increases incrementally, or the filter opens incrementally with each extra key press.

AJH Synth have added independent Decay switches for each individual Contour Generator rather than the shared switch on the original synthesiser, these switches change the Contour response from AD (switch up) to ADSD mode (switch down).

Notes: The modDemix music synthesizer module features 2 identical direct-coupled balanced modulator circuits that may be used together or independently for Ring Modulation, VCA, Mixer, Signal Multiplication, Voltage Controlled Polarization, Attenuation and more.

The CP909 is an exact reproduction of the original analog circuit and, with the addition of just one extra knob, "trashing" the frequency of the internal noise generator, we have added greatly to the spectrum of sounds that can be generated - all that without compromising the signature sound of the TR-909 clap.

The CP909 clap effect is made by a special triple-saw envelope generator that controls the gain of a VCA. The sound source feeding into the VCA is made by a quasi-random logic based noise generator; some might call it "digital noise" though this term might be misleading in today's world of microcontrollers and sound samples. What really makes the noise generator is a ring of logic gates, so primitive, so BO's, and that's the sound of the 909 Clap!

The CP909 includes a high-powered output gain stage capable of producing hot signals. On the inputs, we have designed a pulse-shaper circuit so you can trigger the CP909 with trigger/gate signals from step sequencers, clock dividers, or any other pulse/clock sources. This eliminates the need to shape pulses sent to the module and ensures the same stable sound at peak power, regardless of your pulse source. Based on the architecture of the 909, the Accent input is versatile and able to take in both CV and Gate signals for continuously changing dynamics. CopierMaschine is an enhanced version of the original quantising digital emulation of a four stage analogue shift register (ASR).

Harrington 1200 provides basic neo-Riemannian Tonnetz transformations of triadic chords, triggered by the digital (gate/trigger) inputs.

Automatonnetz combines Tonnetz transforms with a "vector" sequencer - it can be both a chord sequencer and a melody sequencer, but not of the usual kind.

Quantermain is a quad pitch quantiser for external voltages, with editable scales; it can do clocked (trigger-driven) quantising, or continuous quantising, with a latency of under 100 microseconds; it also features quad Turing Machines, May-Verhulst logistic maps or byte beats as optional, semi-random, internally generated CV sources.

Meta-Q is a dual-channel quantiser, similar to Quantermain, but also offering scale and note mask sequencing.

Quadraturia is a wavetable quadrature LFO, based on the "Easter egg" in the Mutable Instruments Frames module.

Sequins is a dual-channel step sequencer offering 4 "tracks" of up to 16 steps each; tracks can themselves be sequenced.

Dialectic Ping Pong is a quad bouncing ball envelope generator, based on a hidden mode of the Mutable Instruments Peaks module.

Viznutcracker, sweet! is a quad "byte beat" equation generator, which can be used as an audio source to generate curious but often interesting 8-bit noises and tunes, or which can be clocked by an external source to produce "byte beat" control voltage sequences. "Byte beats" were first described in 2011 by viznut (aka Ville-Matias Heikkila).

Acid Curds is both a chord quantiser (sometimes called a "harmonic quantiser" for external pitch voltages), and a chord progression sequencer.

References is an utility app that outputs specific reference voltages on each channel to help tune or calibrate VCOs and other modules. It also includes a high-precision frequency meter and note tuner, a high-precision BPM (beats per minute) tempo meter, and a closed-loop calibration mode.

Notes: Kraken is a physical modelling snare drum with a wide range of sounds.

With 32 different shell models, nose algorithms and different distortion types as well as a pitch shifter, the snare sound can be customized as desired.

Minsk is a stereo image processor. It is a hybrid tool that combines digital and analog processing to facilitate advanced mid/side (M/S) manipulation of a stereo signal pair. It allows for separate treatment of the mid and side components, which affects the depth and width of the auditory scene. Minsk offers both manual and voltage control of the stereo width, as well as two dimension effects for enhancing the existing stereo image or creating a faux stereo image based on the stereo or mono input source. Minsk is especially handy during the preparation of a vinyl release or before a club concert, because it can eliminate out-of-phase low-end frequencies (high pass filter at 300Hz with the filter slope 12dB/oct, 50Hz with the filter slope 24dB/oct).

Notes: Introduce some precisely controlled chaos to your patches with the Orbit 3, based on the orbit of a particle through 3D space. Audio and low-frequency modes allow it to work as an oscillator or LFO.

In everyday usage, 'chaos' means 'disorder, 'randomness'. In mathematics however, chaos has a very specific meaning. Chaos theory deals with systems exhibiting highly irregular behaviour, seemingly random yet completely deterministic.

Applying this to the world of modular synths opens up a whole new world of modulation opportunities, introducing a natural irregularity to otherwise purely 'mechanical' music, yet with much more control and repeatability than just simple randomness.

In chaos theory, the combination of all possible oscillations at a specific set of parameters is known as the 'attractor'. Orbit 3 incorporates a modified electronic analogue of the classic double-scroll attractor. Since it contains some (bi)stable regions in addition to chaotic ones, this type is known as a 'strange' attractor.

The voltages at each of the module's outputs can be thought to describe the orbit of a particle through 3D space around two equilibrium points. The positions of these points, as well as the distribution of the orbits and rate of movement can all be adjusted under manual or voltage control.

Not just limited to low frequency modulation use, Orbit 3 can operate in the audio frequency domain as well, yielding a variety of waveforms from its three complementary output pairs. These span a wide range, from near-sine waves to white noise. The addition of temperature compensation and calibrated pitch tracking makes for an unconventional and lively, yet also accurate audio oscillator.

And when you need a break from all that musical chaos, simply connecting any pair of outputs to the XY inputs of an oscilloscope will surely not disappoint!
