Since contributing a debut cut to Whiskey Disco's multi-artist "Disco Darling" EP in 2015, Vincenzo De Bull has gone on to contribute tracks to similar 12" singles on Queen and Disco and Kolour Ltd. This is the producer's first solo salvo and it's well worth picking up, not least for the loopy, filter rich disco-house celebration that is peak-time smasher "Champ 1". The fun continues elsewhere across the EP, from the smooth, boogie-goes-house sensuality of "In Love", to the rubbery bounce of "That Same Old Feeling", a chunky revision of a dewy-eyed disco-funk number full of rolling beats, tactile vocal samples and crunchy Clavinet lines.
