Slowly Mowdy's latest is a real gem from the frontline of tech house, minimal and dub. "Funfa" (Zentrale Doomsday mix) kicks off with a crisp, punchy groove that recalls mid nineties Andrew Weatherall and his Bloodusgar mixes. Tom Ries's second effort is a more jerky, broken techno beat with real dance floor clout, then the always reliable Birdsmakingmachine comes through with a pair of right up, stripped back bangers direct from the future. "Fuzzinez" is all squelchy synths and deliciously swung drums and "Nausitos" gets more freaky, late night and unhinged in its design.
