Barcelona based post-punk retroverts Domestica plunder the tombs again and (re) present Spanish act Tiempo 555, a band of electronic pop persuasion from Spain active between 1982-1984. The name refers to the electronic chip 555, a famed time control device used in many of the SAM synthesizer circuits. The music presented here is restored from vinyl and cassette formats. "La Vuelta" shows off some charming arpeggio driven synthpop reminiscent of Kraftwerk, while the raw and noticeably live rendition of "Semillas Del Sol" shows the passion and energy that came through at their seminal performances back in the day. "Siguelo" (Maqueta version) channels the camp hi-NRG of Giorgio Moroder or Bobby Orlando.
