Dutchman and master of black hole techno rhythms Guy Blanken returns as Talismann with six more of his perfectly designed late night rollers. He opens up with the squelchy bass rumbles and eerie hanging steel sounds of 'Anchoryst' which sounds like it might eat itself it it plays out for long enough. 'Shayker' is more kinetic and compressed with hunched drums forcing you to move and 'Fryction' then building through dubby drums, waves of synths and pounding claps. Intensity levels do not let up on the closing two cuts, but there is a real melodic lightness and beauty to 'Jylya.'
