Things To Think About is the first album from Dutch electronic music legend Steve Rachmad's lesser known Sterac Electronics project. It's been quite some time since we've been treated to some of Rachmad's electro-funk experiments under this alias but when inspiration struck, it is said that he returned to the project and jammed out tracks using an impressive collection of vintage synthesizers and drum machines. In addition to this material, he revisited the archives with Voyage Direct label boss Tom Trago and discovered some forgotten gems: that have been unearthed here for the first time in many years. This album sampler features two cuts from the collection presented on vinyl. A side cut "Archetype" is classic Motor City style electro of the sub-aquatic kind. On the flip "Metatron" is a deep and sublime serving of funky techno-soul in the tradition of Mind & Body era Model 500.
