This marks the first release on vinyl from Greek label Helikon who present industrial duo Sone Urbia. On the Theros EP, there are two improvised live recordings on offer from between 2012 and 2013. On the A side is a powerful and abrasive body basher, featuring thunderous drums that reach near tribal moments and chilling wall of noise style drones atop. On the flip, the second offering is a much more atmospheric affair, with treated, textured layers of noise creating a haunting collage. Featuring haunting choir sounds, orchestral samples, field recordings and feedback all walking in perfect hysteria. An impressive debut from this underground label and one to watch in 2017 for sure!
