Critical Music remains at the forefront of drum & bass, and its no wonder when they can call upon such visionaries and forward-thinking creatives as Sam Binga & Chimpo. This is their first joint release for a number of years and comes after they have minted a new high end fashion atelier 'Maison Binga-Chimpoix' with their SS21 collection, which presents us this classy 'Ultra Luxe' sound. It is full throttle jungle with classic 90s motifs next to futuristic ideals, rip-snorting bass undermining fierce drum programming and plenty more besides. Our pick of the collection is 'Murda Dem' (feat Slay), an ice cold rhythm with wobbling low ends and precision percussion.
