A brand new label from disco deviants Psychemagik. Going back to their edit roots, both "Sun Stepper" and "Hot Midnight" are deeply dug and finely re-crafted into contemporary gems. The former jumps and sways with a mild case of Sugar Hill fun while a tight guitar and bass combo provide a sturdy backbone. Complete with dubby elements and occasional cowbell flurries, it's an instant floor-burner. "Hot Midnight" is a slower, slinkier electro disco homage. With a rustic warped sensation to the synths, there's a fuzzy dreamy trippiness that allures with mystic potency. Perfect.
