Amongst those who know, Piry Reis' classic Caminho Do Interior record is a cult classic. It first came out in 1984 and has been hard to find ever since. Now the whole thing has been restored and remastered, with added bonus tune 'Idade Media' now also included for the first time having only previously been put out as a B-side 7". These are textbook Balearic sounds, awash with gentle Italo melodies, lilting grooves and lush retro-future synth work that sooth mind, body and soul. There are various sojourns into tropical sounds like 'Ceu De Managua' and some new age meanderings on 'O Estrangeiro' that make it all the richer.
