Since the Livity Sound project and label was founded in 2011, each of it's six releases to date from the triumvate of Peverelist, Kowton and Asusu have helped to establish a collective hybrid sound and approach that's wholly unique to their hand stamped 12"s. Later this year a self titled compilation of Livity Sound material issued thus far emboldened by some unreleased material will arrive on double CD and a pair of the latter tracks from precede it here. Both "End Point" and "Vapours" are collaborations between Pev and Kowton, demonstrating a thrilling extension of the studio dynamic shown on their Hessle Audio release earlier this year. "End Point" sees a tough dubstep-inspired rhythm collide with dystopian synths that sound like they've been ripped straight out of a sci-fi soundtrack, while "Vapours" offers a more stripped back percussive jam filled with palpable low-end pressure.
