Perseus Traxx's recent Delsin outing Tales From The Night Sky saw the producer adopt a significantly tougher approach, but this debut for the Chiwax label sees him return to more sedate Chicago house territory. "Finding You" features strings and bass reminiscent of early Mr Fingers jams, with a simmering acid backbone keeping everything grounded, while "She Blows My Mind" combines a low slung bassline and rattling rimshots with swirling keys phasing in and out of view. On the flip, "Anticipating Your Touch" is another similarly dreamy journey into house music's past, with a loose arrangement and almost imperceptibly infectious groove that slowly builds itself to something that could be a long lost Virgo Four cut, while "Communications Blackout" provides some abstract mid-tempo jack with spring loaded bass and feather-light organ chords.
