As their slew of recent singles continues, October and Borai emerge on Applepips with yet more essential tackle for broadminded dancefloors. "I Didn't Mean To" finds itself in a compromising position between broken rhythmic trysts and technoid propulsion, all the while off set by achingly beautiful, twinkling pads. It's still a strong floor track, but in a truly hypnotic and uplifting way. "Palmarosa" meanwhile is honed for maximum body response, with a firm undercarriage and sassy saxophone flairs perfect for those feverish moments deep in the heat of the night. Either way you'll find it hard to prise this one out of your bag.
