With a name like Myles Bigelow, you're definitely bound to make it big in one way or another. And releasing on Osunlade's Yoruba is pretty much testament to that. This EP is a slice of truly spiritual deep house that you come to expect from this fine label. On the A side "Afro banger" lives up to its name with killer conga workout accompanied by a deep bass groove and some uplifting, side chained synth strings. Next "House Rocka" offers another serve of sublime percussion with a crazy synth stab workout. On the flip we have "Spiritual Awakening" getting on more of a tech house tip with its razor sharp bassline and lush pads pumping the vibe that bit more and lastly "Turning Pages" features the lovely and inspirational vocals of Chi Turner in this full soul band throwdown complete with Rhodes piano, funk guitar and the most kick ass keyboard solo you'll ever hear towards the end.
