Compassion Cuts have dug deep to turn out an important house excavation here. These tracks remaking their way to vinyl for the first time since they were reals don M-O-F's 1990 debut release, the private press Natural Vibe LP, which was also their last release. 'My Opposite Sex' opens with a loose and jumbled groove, tumbling toms and playful lyrics as well as myriad shooting disco synths and wonderful percussive sounds. On the flip is the early deep house of 'Trip City' with its sax lines, muttered vocals and siren sounds all underpinned by a killer lo-fi groove and taught bass stabs.
