To mark a half century since its initial release, Parlophone has decided to offer-up a new anniversary version of David Bowie's 1970 album The Man Who Sold The World, reissuing it under the Thin White Duke's original intended title, Metrobolist. As Bowie fans will tell you, it's a significant album for a number of reasons, not least because it was arguably his first classic set. It marked the first time he worked with guitarist Mick Ronson, for example, and was produced by the man who would go on to sit behind the studio desk on most of Bowie's best albums, Tony Visconti. The latter has remixed and remastered all bar one track for this reissue, giving new life and vibrancy to an already excellent album.
