Back in the early years of grime, Mega Mos Wanted (or Mos Wanted as he was more regularly known) was an in-demand beat-maker whose rhythm tracks underpinned the songs of Wiley and Dizzee Rascal. As this rare solo outing on Dream Eater proves, he's still capable of serving up killer beats. These are a little more heavily electronic and colourful than some of his works, but the beats and basslines remain tough and punchy. We're particularly enjoying the rolling electronic sleaze that is "Blip Works" and the fizzing, polyrhythmic brilliance of "UK Drama (Remix)", but the whole EP is impressively strong.
