The man like Wadsworth appears to be at the helm for this relatively new imprint slinking its way out of the solar system, providing free reign to an artist who has forged a career on making his own stubborn kind of tech house. Uranus 222 is a no-nonsense affair, just two tracks on a hand-stamped white label, with a focus on grubby production values and otherworldly atmosphere. "Track 1" bumps along on a minimal beat, but this is far from a stripped down affair as the menacing lead synth attests with its IDM-inspired growls and groans, while haunting pads linger in the background to provide a more rounded mood to the track. "Track 2" is an equally analogue-centric affair, less morose than its counterpart on the A side but more primal in its embrace of raw sound sources.
