Experimental post rock group Jesu serve up this special five track EP to accompany their new album Terminus. Jesu formed after Justin Broadrick's other band Godflesh broke up and the sounds her e are quite different, too. They find him blur the lines between shoe gaze, pop, metal and electronica with a real focus on writing what he thinks are coherent pop songs. The mood is longing here, with gauzy textures and epic darkness engulfing his often pained vocals. 'Never There For You' is the most upbeat of the lot with a female vocal rising up through strident drum machine grooves
