Len Faki's imprint now presents another fine release by Amsterdam's functional techno expert Jeroen Search with more cyclical peak time weapons on the Time Signature EP. "Da Capo" actually sees Search serve up some deeper and dubbier techno that takes its cues from classic Basic Channel while "Dal Segno" is full of suspense and tension allowing the track to build within a sense of mystery with its nefarious chords. On the flip it sounds a bit more like the Dutch producer we have come to know; like on the furious and adrenalised bleep techno of "Eight Four" while the title track goes for something more dramatic and soulful; with its evocative strings and elaborate rhythm programming that takes its cues from the Motor City sound.
