Antoine Roux has been quietly building up his identity as Jean Tonique over the past few years, slipping out dreamy synth pop that sounds like it could have the midas touch of Jean-Benoit Dunckel or some other such smooth cruiser. It appears Roux has crafted this pristine sound himself though, sporting both the production chops to get his sound shimmering with the right kind of reverb, and the songwriting hooks that could find him sitting comfortably on prime time radio.
