Leeds young gun Jack Wickham has appeared previously for One Records, Drumma and Air London and now strikes out on his own JKR imprint with its first release. A side tracks "Cosmic" and "Mipo" are tough, dubby and rolling minimal tech house cuts that would make even iO Mulen stand up and notice; these are properly funky and fierce. B side offering "VXT" utilises a broken beat that ricochets upon itself in wonderfully splintered fashion while the hypnotic repetition of swirling pads keeps the heady elements intact. Geared for some properly out-there moments on the dancefloor.
