Heroes of Limbo is a project from long-time collaborators Glenn Fallows, and Gram 'Canyon' Treldavs which takes cult classics and pop hits and renders them in a sharply styled strain of Afrobeat. On their last single the Happy Mondays and Disclosure all got the treatment to explosive effect and this time around the band set their sights on hip-hop totems from Eric B & Rakim and Pete Rock & CL Smooth. 'Don't Sweat The Technique' become heady beatdowns for DJs and listeners alike to delight in, with the kind of artful re-versioning which will sneak under the radar until a tuned in ear picks up the vibration and joins the dots - the kind of moment dancefloor magic is made of.
