Gledd & The Funk do what they always do here and that is bring some superb soulful and great gospel house vibes that cannot fail to ignite a floor. Their perfectly entitled Deep In The Church EP comes on nice acid yellow wax and kicks off with the prickly 'The Rabbit.' Warm chords, big horns and slinky drums make for swift lift off. 'Thankful' then brings the raw and guttural vocals to a disco-tinged beat and 'New Rising' brings the funk. Art of Tones remixes with a nice deep take.
