Three words: stone, cold, classics. Taken from three of Gino's four only albums, you'll be hard pushed to find anything better on reissue this week. "Try It Out" (from his 1981 album Closer) has that fat plucked dust-biting bassline to die for and ultra-feelgood vocals. "Dancer" (from his 1979 album Outline) takes us to the races with its pacey piano pumps and relentless energy while "It's Alright" (from his 1982 album Face To Face) shows a more low-swung sultry vibe with a walking bassline that just won't quit. Do as Gino says and try them out... You won't be disappointed.
