A dynamic four-track release from Edzy, who is no newcomer to the dance music scene. This gent was part of the Unique 3 crew back in the rave days, and now he pops up on Look At You with a choice release of deep, teched-out soulful house. "Do It Till You Burn" features some hot disco and r&b licks mixed up with a hot bassline and chunky percussive groove, while the bottom-heavy groover "1-Six-7-Nine-1" is a swinging garage workout with a bumping 95 North/Strictly Rhythm dub kind of thump. On the flip "The Groove (So Funky)" could easily pass for a 1992 funky breaks joint, while "Dig It" is a masterpiece of tribal America-era Deep Dish. Nice assortment of house joints on this promising EP.
