Sex Tags' UFO offshoot has been rather quiet of late. In fact, this 12" from co-founder DJ Fett Burger is the sub-label's first release since 2014. As usual, the Norwegian eccentric has delivered a set of skewed, off-kilter tracks that defy easy categorization. Opener "PUB18", for example, sits somewhere between low slung, Idjut Boys style dub disco and glassy-eyed dream house, while "Edging On The Streets" is a dreamy, old school breakbeat workout that could have been made way back in 1989. Flip for the humid, head-in-the-clouds, analogue-rich deep house bump of "Esperanza 411" and "Sunshine", a spacey, bongo-laden revision of the same track designed for hazy sunrises and sticky Adriatic sunsets.
