Enfant Terrible off-shoot, Vrystaete, finally drops the highly anticipated debut release by German oddballs, Diamantener Oberhof! Much in the same vein as the other output on the label, these ten tracks are a voyage into the deepest and darkest realms of electronic music, where quirky vocals blend with starry melodies and lo-fi beat grooves in an altogether dusty coating. Our favourite tunes from this joyous little album are "Die Brut" for its glitchy structure, "Liebstockel" for its gorgeous swell of nostalgia, and the gorgeous, subdued drones of "Mude". Recommended.
