The mysterious Deetroit swiftly follows their UDR debut late last year with another selection of ruff and ready hardware house exploring the deeper ends of the genre. "Secret Passage" is full of pumping chords and pounding kicks obscured by a healthy serving of grit, while "Deepression" explores the kind of resonant chimes and thick bass you'd expect from Mr Fingers, albeit with a contemporary twist. On the flip, "Deepssential" pairs classic filtered chords with a robust analogue bassline with all the necessary Motor City attitude, while "To The Deep" offers a peak time slice of house with added helping of machine funk.
