Germany's Key Vinyl serves up not one but two banging EPs for us this month. David Lohlien is behind this one and is very much at the heart of a new school of techno producer who is doing the simple things right. His loopy, hard hitting sound is perfectly distilled to the core elements. Each one is perfectly meticulous, and together they add up to functional but also well formed techno that races straight ahead. 'Akien' it's glitchy and metallic, 'Sentena' built from wall rattling kicks, 'Julie' brings an eerie vocal to flip you out in the club and 'Mucuya' hammers you over the head and will have you screaming that you love it.
