The third release from Swedish label Phorma is by far their strongest. It comes from two producers fronting a new wave of droning Italian techno. Claudio PRC and Ness deliver a meditative track for each side of the record, with the "Alchemist Of The Planet" seemingly referencing the type of language used on Giorgio Gigli's Zooloft imprint. It's music for the club; a great tension builder for warming duties or a effective tool for DJs playing extended slots where set lengths aren't an issue. "Nocturne" is much more industrial, with Claudio PRC's trademark synths making way for reverberant delays of clatter and sheet metal atmospherics.
