Caribou is a musical behemoth by now, but back in 2007 he was still very much an underground darling. He was also still largely known in indie circles before making a hugely successful transition to electronic circles with his Sun album. Andorra came before that and reminds us what a master of pastoral sounds and new electronic folk he was. Filled with delightful songs that will have you all emotional for reasons you cannot understand, it is as artful as it is beautiful. It's a limited repress on white, heavyweight vinyl in a gatefold sleeve, too, making it all the more essential.
