Since emerging in 2014, Alex Albrecht and Sean La'Brooy have delivered a consistent sheen of powerful but subtle deep house on Melbourne label Analogue Attic. Here they cast their net a little wider with a debut on fellow Aussie Eluize's Berlin label Night Tide. Basing each track off field recordings taken around Berlin, the EP sees them develop their soft-focus touch conceptually while still maintaining that great shroud-like signature that wraps you up tightly throughout; from the rippling chords of "Templehof" to the sunrise cascades of "Hinterhof" via the lingering cosmic notes of "U-Bahn/S-Bahn", this is bliss...
