Review: Who doesn't love tucking into a great big and juicy Fett Burger? The charismatic sonic sorcerer is back with a fresh new EP featuring a trio of brand new and very different originals. There is cosmic house wonk on 'Astral Solar', stripped back Omar-S style deep house on 'Planetary Exploration' and then an ever deeper, slower, more zoned out SVN Planetary remix. Last of all is the Bad Booy Lenght V.IIbe PTX mix of the caustic house jacker 'Edge Of Galaxy.'

Review: Like his brother DJ Sotofett, DJ Fett Burger is not a producer you can 'second-guess'. On one release, you might get surging techno or outer-space ambient, while on another it could be analogue acid house or throbbing machine-disco. On 'Ephemeral Lightspeed', he adds punchy, crunchy breakbeats to a swirling ambient techno soundscape whose trippy and wide-eyed quality is confirmed by the Norwegian producer's accompanying 'Beatless Version'. On the flipside two friends of the Sex Tags family deliver their interpretations. First LNS re-imagines the track as a bouncy, keyboard stab-sporting electro treat, while the Snorre Magnar Solberg revision is a bonkers-but-brilliant, high-octane acid breakbeat rush-a-thon.

Review: Few if any artists have a sound as wacky yet wonderful as DJ Fett Burger, so having him remix anything is always going to be worth hearing. Here he turns his attention to a couple of tunes by Jennifer Loveless for his Sex Tags label outta Norway. First up he heads to the stars on waves of acid, astral melodies and prickly deep techno drums. On the flip is a more spaced out sound with tumbling toms looping in a hypnotic fashion beneath sustained chords that bring the soul. These are two out there sounds for late-night dance floors.
