Review: Sometimes an album comes along that you would never have imagined would exist evening a thousand lifetimes. The Electro-Bossa Songbook Of Coldplay is just that. It is the newest installment in this series of bossa-nova-tinged albums and it finds the Brit pop-rock outfit's catalogue getting reworked by Groove Da Praia, Sarah Menescal, Freedom Dub, Ituana and Michelle Simonal among others. All the hits are here from 'Clocks' to 'Fix You' to 'Speed of Sound' and they all have a fresh new identity that brings some sunshine and good times into your life.

Review: The Many Faces of The Sex Pistols offers a crash course in demos, deep cut and alternate versions from one of the greatest UK musical exports of all time. Across two individually coloured bits of vinyl, you'll find a bevvy of early demos recorded by their soundman (Dave Goodman), as well as live cuts and Sid Vicious solo tracks. Almost half of the included material comes from the aforementioned Dave Goodman's group The Ex Pistols (which was formed out of spite following Goodman being forced out in favour of more popular producers for the band's iconic Never Mind The Bollocks LP). Former friends, foes and collaborators appear side by side on a truly unique compilation, offering a deeper and more sprawling insight than most would dare to deliver. Complete with explanatory notes surrounding the recordings, this is a vital piece of fan memorabilia.
