Review: "Wicked. Thanks dude, massive fan of the Filterheadz. massive! Fucking loving it!!!! This is absolutely wicked!!!" - John Askew, "The original mix is slamming and will kick ass and I’ll definitely be playing it out. The Max Graham mix is also very good and l will also use this mix and play it out." - Anthony Pappa, "Already got it from Bert, my FB: great track, now the summer can come. full support." - Ronski Speed, "Make room in your record bag for another high octane release from Filterheadz. Love Distortion is the new label of Bert & Maarten Wilmers along with their cohort Housetrap and for the third installment the duo take up a lighter groove with "Endless Summer" which also gets a seeing to by Max Graham. The main side has the original mix which is tight as hell, comprising of driving beats and a whole range of warm, uplifting melodies which intertwine, imitate each other, and compliment the cleanly cut techno element underneath. There's a vocal sample thrown into the mix looping at the break, re-enforcing the hands in the air vibe before powering ahead again with another gradual strip back for added enjoyment. On the flip side is the Max Graham remix. He churns out another bomb complete with subtle glitching and effected vocal cut squeaking over a catchy rez'd bassline. Thrown into the mix are melodies from the original, cranking it up a notch to a pounding disco fever. Another flavoursome release from this fast growing label. Support by major jocks like Max Graham, Above & Beyond, Tiesto, Paul van Dyk, Cinr and many more.
Review: Love Distortion is the brand new Filterheadz & Housetrap imprint. So what does Love Distortion stand for? Well, basically all good things dance music can offer. Expect some funky tech beats, crunchy bass riffs, punchy chord stabs, cool summer breeze melodies and yes...they'll even throw in some vocal bits for good measure. All the ingredients that made tracks like Sunshine, Yimanya & Overdrive classic tunes. "Huge relentless floorfiller with emotional stabs, gorgeous bass and cut-up female vox to round off another classic Filterheadz production. See you on the dancefloor!" - Funk D'Void, "Cartagena Rocks!" - Flash Brothers, "Rocking Mate!" - Futureshock, "Three awesome tracks by these good guys. "Lima" rocks my world and the floor. Best live reactions. People went mad with that." - Ronski Speed, "F*cking great tunes!" - James Grant (Anjuna beats!), "Very yummy! Cartagena is the one for me" - Marco V.
Review: The Filterheadz are back with some 'Blue Sky Happiness'. The original mix has been gathering plaudits across the board over the summer months (including a Big Tune tip from Mixmag), and is now joined by the brand new Filterheadz No Clouds mix for release on the boys own Love Distortion label. 'Blue Sky Happiness' is a pure feel good tune. A delicious blend of exotic atmospherics and serious dancefloor attitude. It's classic Filterheadz style for sure, doing what they do best, and creating another anthemic masterpiece with their second release for 2006.
