Review: Jupiter4 is an Argentinean record label founded by Dj Loui (now based in Berlin) that has presented releases by the likes of Steve Murphy, Vin Sol and Vincent Floyd among others in the past - but it's all about him on the label's fifth release. Jam packed with tough and gritty electro jams that reek of hardware, feel the high-power sonic waves of the appropriately titled "Keep Breakbeat Evil", until he goes off-kilter with the contorted "HARDchip". Flip over for the bass heavy dystopia of "SQ80 System" on the flip, which receives a rework by one of the undisputed masters of the electro sound, Carl Finlow - respect!

Review: It has been two years since Jupiter4 put out the first part of their The Sapcy Saga series, but the follow up doesn't disappoint. Across six blistering tracks, a top notch selection of producers from around the globe turn out no nonsense electro tracks. The punk spirited Drvg Cvltvre goes for an industrial banger to open up while elsewhere Aquatronics - "Hydrosaurus" is all slippery hi hats, metallic hits and hi speed bass. Datawave goes dark to start off the flip side with some sludgy electronics, Jack Rowland stays slow and low with his paranoid and dubby trip and Psynote showcases some bumpy drum programming to get you in the groove.

Review: The title of this new EP from Hermeth tells you all you need to know about it: This Is Hardcore is no frills electro for those who like it tough. 'Mandelectroeiv' is muscular and macho, with bulky bass, jittery percussion and tough beats all making you jerk your body. 'Wait What' is an all out cyborg assault on your senses and '170' keeps up the pressure with more high pressure drum programming and relentless baselines. '94mmc' then slows it down to reveal a bombastic bassline that twists and turns beneath edgy synth reflections and 'Hammer Lean' closes in a world of haunting mystery.
