Review: Although his production career stretches as far back as 2006, this is amazingly the first full-length excursion from Clapper founder Dachshund. Given the extended format, it's perhaps less of a surprise to find that Eleven Riddims is a peculiarly eclectic set. Of course, it's all rooted in techno, but there are plenty of luscious diversions along the way. So, we get the loose drums and deep house chords of "Strange Day", the dancefloor skank of "Mosquito Coast", the straight-up dub of "Give Thanks" and the Visionquest-ish wooziness of "Permanent Love". Throw in a few certified floorfillers (check, in particular, "Log Out") and you have an impressive debut set.
