Review: Famous for including the formerly unreleased Pink Floyd song 'Embryo', this sampler compilation, originally released by EMI sublabel Harvest (a risky prog spinoff of the label, for its time), has grown into a legendary oddity, charting the best heraldic, psychedelic prog rock of its time. Also featuring music by such visionaries as Roger Water, Kevin Ayers and Deep Purple, this is a knowingly low-key compilation, at the oddball cusp of several contemporaneous folk styles. We'd best hope this picnic comes with sugar cubes...
