Review: Well isn't this quite the star pairing. VincentAdrian are none other than Romanian scene heroes VincentIulian and Adrian Niculae aka Priku - who serve up some perfectly minimal and trippy antics (in rather typical Romanian style) on the always reliable Eastenderz. Unlike the experimental leanings usually associated with either producer's work, ENDZ 024 features four functional cuts that are dubby, bouncy and reduced - guaranteed to work on the dancefloor and perfectly suited to the early evening of the afterhours alike. You'll be sure to be hearing these ones on discerning dancefloors from Club Guesthouse to Hoppetosse and beyond. Tip!

  3. Little Walker (8:25)
  4. Cavity (8:23)
Review: Given that both label and artist have a reputation for rarely missing the mark, you'd expect this Eastenderz outing from Vlad Arapasu to be pretty darn good. It is, of course, with the Romanian flitting between glitchy, undulating and hypnotic late-night minimalism (see "Udont" and the bleeping, bass-heavy tech-house space of "Cavity") and bolder material that's surprisingly upbeat in tone. In this category you'll find opener "What Is The Point", where a rubbery synthesizer bassline and cut-up vocal samples bounce away atop a crunchy tech-house groove, and the darker, dirtier and more intergalactic flex of EP highlight "Little Walker".

  1. Track 1 (10:17)
  2. Track 2 (10:43)
Review: For the latest missive on the Eastenderz imprint he established in 2014, East End Dubs has turned to a notoriously reliable source: Romanian minimal scene stalwart Arapu. It's the Bucharest-based producer's first missive of 2018 and also marks his Eastenderz debut. He begins in confident fashion on Side-A, wrapping distant percussion hits, atmospheric field recordings, bubbly electronics and deep space chords around a smooth but mind-altering groove rich in shuffling drum hits and hypnotic sub-bass. Turn to the flip for a bolder and arguably funkier excursion, where metallic hits and pot boiling electronic motifs spit and dart above a classically low-slung tech-house groove.

  1. Vibration (7:11)
  2. Foundation (7:07)
  3. Nation (7:03)
Review: German minimal/tech house veteran Christian Burkhardt makes a worthy addition to East End Dubs' ever reliable Eastenderz stable with this absolute thrasher of an EP. Although a native of Heidelberg, Burkhardt was associated with the "Mannheim Sound" over a decade ago, but has since carved out his own distinct style on tastemaker imprints like Oslo, raum...musik and Cocoon, in addition to his own Christian Burkhardt Sessions. He is in impressive form on ENDZ 030, which features the moody tough rolling main room banger "Vibration" on the A side, followed by the meditative tribal trance of afterhours cut "Foundation" as well as the bleepy minimal funk of closer "Nation" which harks back to his output in the late 00s.

Review: Given his impressive track record and rising star status, it was probably only a matter of time before Cosmin Nastasa AKA Cosmjn popped up on East Enderz. This time round, the Romanian producer seems to be in a particularly positive mood. Certainly, A-side "Effected" - a jaunty affair built around a bold, attention-grabbing bassline, punchy drums and drowsy, sun-kissed synthesizer chords - is amongst the cheeriest tracks he's released to date. On the flip, "Sunset Soul" is a little closer to his trademark tech-house fare, with spacey pads and fizzing electronics wrapping themselves around a pleasingly rubbery groove.

Review: For those who love the distinctively druggy sound of Romanian tech-house and minimal techno, each new COSMJN release is a must-check. Here he returns to EASTENDERZ for the first time in a while with a rock solid four-tracker. He begins in confident fashion on "Kapa", where fluttering electronic motifs bubble away atop crunchy drums and a tightly cyclical bassline, before opting for a more spacey and futurist feel on rolling tech-house gem "Attraction" (it, too, features a bassline that will wriggle its way into your subconscious). Those looking for an altogether more trippy vibe should check out the weird aural textures, squidgy acid bass and ghostly chords of "Fix Me", while "Drain In Pain" is dreamier and more loved-up than your average inebriated sunrise bunk-up.

Review: East End Dubs' Eastenderz label is a low key but high quality outlet for those who are drawn to the slick, dubby end of the house spectrum. It's already up to an impressive 33rd release, and this time it is Spanish groove maker Cuartero who comes correct. Opener "Alma" is all warped bass and bobbling drums, "Talasa" slips into some smooth and catchy minimal house loops before "Triangulum" ups the ante again, this time with a dirtier bassline and more techno-leaning beats that will awaken any floor.

Review: Aurelien Riviere's work as Doubtingthomas has been a staple of the tech-house stronghold since the late 00s, and he is often cited as a name which brought zest and freedom to the genre, unlike many of his more loop-minded contemporaries. He returns to Eastenderz with a tactile three-tracker, headlined by "Dem Unbekannten", a bleepy technoid bullet which evolves ever so gently into an endlessly hypnotic tunnel of atmospherics. "Bastide" is similarly shape-shifting, except the execution is more mechanical and dub-minded, whereas swarm heads deep into the minimal whirlpool. Effective tools for the open-minded tech-head.

Review: Tech-house's own cockney rebel, East End Dubs, has been busy of late. The master of DJ tools and rhythm-focused box jams kept up a steady stream of releases in 2016, delivering a trio of coloured vinyl treats. His first missive of 2017 comes on psychedelically inclined "splatter" pattern vinyl, but doesn't stray far from his usual musical blueprint. On the A-side you'll find "Swing Riddim", where liquid chords and spacey electronics cluster around an immaculately programmed, bass-heavy tech-house groove. B-side "Lexa Groove" is a slightly deeper and more becalmed affair, even if it does boast a more sizeable bassline and chunkier drums.

Review: Aside from a few, sporadic appearances here and there, East End Dubz has pretty much been loyal to his own imprint, through which he has solidified a house sound of his own. Number 16 in the series offers a predictably classy affair in the form of 2 club trax that are bound to sync with pretty much anything you throw at them. "Space Cadet" is a direct, no bullshit house missile made for keeping the moods and tempos at a steady pace, while "Halfjack" is more on the playful side, shooting out tidy little melodic twists amid its rawer and more off-kilter percussion.

Review: East End Dubs keep the pressure up with another peak time belter to feed into their rapidly swelling catalogue. "Synthasy" marries snaking, nervy piano lines to a chunky tech house backbone with a fierce forward momentum, while "Nightingale" weaves a little trance bombast into the formula without over-egging those lead synths. It's a fine art to achieve that balance, and they've nailed it. "Vizzle" takes things in a more playful direction with wobbly tones and a cheeky bassline catering for those naughty moments when everyone's getting loose and having a real good time.

Review: East End Dubz offshoot Eastenderz continues to go from strength to strength after killer releases from Romanians Lizz and Nami. Keeping on with their focus on the finest of emerging talent, they now tap Japanese artist in London Ittetsu for their tenth edition. Starting out on the first side in great fashion is "Lax", a raw and shuffling groove with the right amount of dust and bumpiness in its functionality. Next up the fittingly titled "Dub III" was probably our favourite, this rolling and emotive journey through deepness is reminiscent of Ion Ludwig. Finally on the flip is "11th", a reduced minimal funk jam with some wacky sound FX accompanied by a low slung groove that's perfect for the after-hours.

As you'd expect, "ENDZ 034" features some surefire main room tackle that rolls tough: from the lean boompty funk of "Fierce", the moody afterhours tech house of "Mere Mortals" - the latter similar to his recent release on Mulen Records to the tripped-out vibes on the utterly hypnotizing "Essence" and the ethereal, sunny afternoon bliss of "Leaving Home" which hammers home the message in a Sunday-at-Club Der Visionaere fashion.

Review: Romanian producer Lizz is the latest guest star to light up the consistently on-point Easternderz label. A-side "Ions Move" is particularly potent, with cyclical melody loops and spacey electronics crowding around a stabbing acid bassline, crispy cymbals and chunky drums. Tension is cannily built thanks to the use of an extended breakdown midway through. While that has a slightly creepy, foreboding feel, flipside "Mystical Sayings" is a beacon of fluttering positivity. Its crystalline melodies are in perfect harmony with the producers dreamy chord progressions, bubby synth bassline, and crisp, rolling beats. It could well be the better of the two tracks, and they're both rather good.

You only need listen to the first few second of "Memory Soul" to realise that this Lizz is Romanian. Subtle, hypnotic and high tech are the first descriptions that come to mind when trying to describe this sublime groove over ten and half minutes that you'll wish never end. Review: Following two years spent serving up tasty tech-house treats on such labels as UVAR, Windmuhle, Acme and Melodrom, Petre Ionut Valentin brings his Lizz project back to Eastenderz. It's his third solo missive for East End Dubs' label and, with four tracks stretched over two slabs of vinyl, his most expansive, too. He eases us in gently via the slowly pulsing, ultra-deep chords, spacey electronics and rolling grooves of "Deceptiv", before offering up wonkier rhythms, weirder electronics and more traditional tech-house elements on late night workout "Esque". Over on the second 12-inch, "It Should" is a subtly funk-fuelled early morning roller rich in rubbery bass and mangled, robotic vocals, while "XOX" underpins melodious and attractive deep house musicality with a tech-tinged rhythm.

Review: East End Dubs' Eastenderz label has a thing for brightly coloured "splatter" vinyl. This split artist 12" is the imprint's third consecutive foray into the world of patterned wax, and looks set to be as popular as previous outings. Romanian producer Lizz handles the A-side, wrapping sustained note chords and jaunty electronics around a tactile, acid-influenced synth bassline and crunchy tech-house beats. On the flip, fellow label regular DoubtingThomas returns with the quietly impressive "Just Saying". A little more introspective than the A-side, the track features the winning combination of hypnotic, locked-in tech-house beats, woozy, Orbital-style chords and a bassline so rich and sugary that you might feel pangs of toothache.

Next up is Nami who inaugurated the label back in 2014. "The Secret Of Nim" is a deeply hypnotic groove that you could imagine a crowd full sun-drunk youths on the beach at Sunwaves totally losing their heads to; this one is as bumpin' and funky as we like it! "Tahiti Exploration" is more on the traditional deep house tip but still quite enjoyable; Finally "Terza Rima" gets tough and rolling on you; this is what you wanted all along. This trance inducing groove will really rock the dancefloor.

The Bucharest producer is in fine form, too, kicking off a rock solid EP with the bouncy tech-house beats, rising and falling bassline and twinkling piano samples of "Melodic". He opts for a crunchier drum machine rhythm and dreamier chords on the useful box jam "Marea Unire", before opting for a deeper, more energetic feel on "Western", where looped piano motifs spar with some lilting strings and a jaunty bassline. "Spectral Scan", a tastefully rubbery roller with a bassline reminiscent of "You Got The Love" and some flanged funk guitars buried in the mix, completes a tasty package.

He begins with "Kickin' It", a deliciously groovy and energy-packed affair which wraps glitchy electronics and layered vocal sounds around swinging, UK garage-influenced tech-house beats and a killer bassline, before opting for a deeper and more melodious - but no less groovy or punchy - vibe on "Feelings". Elsewhere, "24 Trips" manages to be bass-heavy, spacey and bumpin' in equal measure, while closing cut "Sundown" is the kind of dreamy and tactile tech-house jam that we can imagine would sound terrific at sunset.

There's tons to get the juices flowing across the four tracks, which mix pin-sharp electronic melodies and warming chords with basslines and beats that sit somewhere between tech-house and deep house. We're particularly enjoying the melodious, funk-fuelled brilliance of "Never Ending Story" and the liquid deepness of "Modiletion", though opener "Torino" - all deep tech-house grooves, cut-up female vocal samples and tuneful electronic motifs - and dreamy closing cut "Aerolite" are also well worth a place in your DJ sets.

Review: It would be fair to say that this Eastenderz label debut is Toman's most high-profile solo single to date. In fact, we'd argue that it's his strongest lone release full stop. Check first the spacey, far-sighted positivity of funk-fuelled opener "High Ceilings" - a great example of revivalist '90s tech-house with the emphasis on mood and melody - before getting your ears around the similarly luscious and intergalactic flex of "Le Premier". Over on side B, Toman goes deeper still via the dub techno style synth motifs, rolling beats and weighty bass of "A Quarter To Molly", while closing cut "No Sleep" sees him wrap subtle acid lines and dreamy pads around the EP's chunkiest tech-house groove. In a word: delicious.

Following up the inauguration of his own JKR imrpint in addition to releases on Re.Face (which was recently played by Ricardo Villalobos) and Infuse: he now serves up two killer tracks here for East End Dubz' esteemed Eastenderz imprint. Quite a privilege considering its releases are almost exclusively an outlet for Romanian producers until now. On first side, we've got the rolling and funky groove of "Episode A" which carries on with Wickham's well honed hypnotic sound that puts him up there with the likes of iO Mulen and S.A.M. as one of the main proponents of this particular tech house sound. On the flip, "Episode B" has more energy and bounce to it, not to mention a heap of swing in the rhythm which is exactly the kind on sunny tech house we love: expect to hear this one everywhere from Kater Blau to Club Eden this Summer.

That means you'll be able to smash out some killer house on the floor, and these tools are just what you need to do be able to do that. Wickham's "Digsy" kicks off with a delightful injection of bass, pushing a fat groove over a vast 7 minutes of bounciness, while Viceversa's "Aden" tones the pace down and heads into the murkier end of the deep house scale. On the flip, Doubtingthomas comes thorugh with "Jegun", a space-age roller with vast synths extending the track's reach, leaving Cosmjn's "Butterfly Drop" to deliver one final shot of bass-driven house that can only be smashed out on a jam-packed dancefloor. Badness from the Eastenderz!
