Review: Recent times have seen Andreas Tilliander focus attentions on his superb TM404 project, with just a couple of forays on the mighty Borft his only output under his given name. Therefore it's a welcome surprise to see him pitch up on Bright Sounds with a Tilliander 12" featuring a trio of tracks that go deeper in search of house and techno inspirations. By and large, Tilliander is in a positive mood, with all three original productions sitting somewhere between minimal techno, glitch, dub techno and experimental deep house. Old pal Burnt Friedman serves up the EP's only remix, a typically spacey, dub-wise dancefloor interpretation of title track "Stettin Libau". Focused primarily on rolling, jazzy, delay-laden percussion and woozy pads, it's something of a softly spoken delight.
